2/7/2003 - MFTWF Set To Re-Open For Business

After much legal wrangling and several direct threats from the American government the MFTWF has finally been allowed to re-open in the not-so-distant future with Prez Cannibal and Commissioner "Double J" Jake Jarret at the helm once again. It was closed down a little over a year ago after allegations that some wrestlers were seen to be killed on live national television during certain matches. Prez Cannibal had this to say.

"Let me just say that in the "You're Dead And I'm Not Match," when Payne proceeded to drive a monster truck over the head of Ying that it was completely safe. I would never endanger my wrestlers. The dead body they found in the parking lot after the match could not be proven Chinese due to the gory lack of a head and it could have been anyone. Then on to his twin brother Yang, there is absolutely no solid evidence that me shooting him out of a cannon directly resulted in his death."

Prez Cannibal said that he was hoping to start accepting new wrestlers in about two weeks and soon as a fair-sized roster was assembled kick off MFTWF once again with a PPV to remember. He’s already hinted that he has a "big, big surprise" lined up as well already for the show.

"This is a new start for the MFTWF," said Commissioner "Double J" Jake Jarret. "The slate's been wiped clean and the MFTWF is going to be at the forefront of wrestling entertainment once again. I'm envisioning it as an ECW/WCW hybrid for a whole generation of disillusioned wrestling fans."
