.:: We are brought to a TNT Wrestling non-televised live event.
The crowd is hot tonight as they await the the next event in this
spectacular show. Then, Slither by Velvet Revolver blasts over the
speakers. The sold out TNT Wrestling audience is stunned in silence.
They do not recognize the music being presented to them. Then
a man with short blonde hair walks out from behind the curtain. He
is wearing long wrestling tights as he struts out through the curtain and
out onto the stage. He has a confidence about him that only few posess.
He walks to the end of the stage at the top of the ramp and stops
for a moment. He looks out at the thousands of fans who all simply
look back in wonder. The fans do not know what to make of this stranger.
This mystery man has a grin on his face, a genuine grin showing that
he is extremely happy to be in TNT Wrestling. He then proceeds to
walk down the ramp and make his way down to the ring. He walks around
to the opposite side of the ring and is handed a microphone from a member
of the ring crew. The man walks up the steps, through the ropes
and into the ring. He walks to the middle of the ring, and crowd
still wondering who this man is. The music stops, and this man begins
to address the audience. ::.
I have finally made it!!! I have
finally made it to the big game!!! I have finally made it to TNT Wrestling.
This has been a dream of mine ever since I started wrestling a couple
of years back. I started wrestling in Montreal a couple of years back,
and I have been wrestling on the independent scene across Quebec for my
entire wrestling career. Now I have finally made it to a place where
I can truley put my talent to the test. Now I can finally wrestle some
worthy talent. I was trained by the great Jacques Rougeaux, and he
trained me tremendously. I can say that was probably the greatest fluke
of my life. I fell backward into an opportunity to the trained by such
a great wrestler, and now great trainer. He taught me almost everything
he knew. From there, I have picked up so many things over my past
two years of experience wrestling good talent, and from wrestling terrible
talent. I know that here in TNT Wrestling though, I will be in for
the toughest matches of my life, because I know this is where all the top
talent goes to wrestle. It will be an honour to finally have a match
with some of the great talent here in TNT Wrestling.
.:: This man pauses for a moment
as he looks out at the crowd, they are still stunned and surprised as
to what they are seeing. Then he gets a strange look on his face,
almost a look of realization, like he forgot something. ::.
Oh, I knew I was forgetting to do something. I
forgot to introduce myself. My name is Billy Dee. I know that
many wrestlers come and go through wrestling companies, I've seen it. They
come in, they can't hack it, so they simply leave. I'm not one of
those people. I came here with an opportunity to make a name for myself,
and I don't plan on letting that opportunity get away from me. I've
worked to hard to get here, and then to let it slip through my fingers. I'm
not going to let a chance like this to make a name for myself on such a
great scale get away from me. I know how many people watch TNT Wrestling,
I know how many people pay their hard earned money to come and watch a
great show, and that is what I plan on giving the fans every time I step
into the ring. I plan on putting on the best show that I can, and
I plan on winning every match that I can.
.:: Billy Dee gets a light
applause as they want to see a great show, and if it comes from him, that's
good enough for them. ::.
Being able to wrestle a great match every night isn't what it's all about
though. Putting on a great match isn't going to win you titles. Putting
on a great match isn't going to win you any matches. I plan on winning
matches. I plan on winning titles. I plan on being the best
in TNT Wrestling, and I plan on someday holding the TNT Wrestling Heavyweight
Championship Title belt. It has been my goal ever since I started
wrestling, and now that I am here in TNT, the hardest part is still to come.
I know it's going to be hard, and I know that being new to TNT is
going to hurt me at first. The rest of the guys back there, they're
used to wrestling TNT Wresting caliber wrestlers, while I still have to learn
how to wrestle at that level. These first few matches will be learning
experiences for me, and once I get into the swing of things, I expect to
be making a great impact here.
.:: Billy Dee pauses
for a moment, then he continues. ::.
I'm not going to come out here and make random challenges to anyone
in the company. I'm not going to come out here and challenge the
World Champion. While that is my goal some day, I know that I am
not ready for that title shot yet. What I am out here to do though,
is let everyone know that I am here in TNT Wrestling to wrestle, to put
on a great show, and to win. I'm here because I believe that I can
make an impact here in TNT Wrestlng, and that is exactly what I plan to do.
I plan on making an impact, and having the name Billy Dee go down
in history as a TNT Wrestling legend.
.:: Billy Dee drops the microphone as
Slither by Velvet Revolver hits the speakers. The crowd gives him
a light applause. They appreciate that he wants to put on a great
show, and they appreciate that he will put in his best effort to do so.
Until he proves it though, he won't get the applause he is looking
for. He walks over to the ropes, climbs through the ropes and out of
the ring. He walks back up the ramp and makes his way backstage. He
turns around and looks out at the crowd just because he goes backstage. Then
he turns and walks through the curtain and backstage. ::.
