.:: We find ourselves in a pitch black room.
We cannot see anything but the darkness. Suddenly a light comes
from straight above and shines straight down on a figure. This figure
is sitting cross legged on a white cushion on the floor. He is wearing
a white cloak with a hood covering his entire head and face. All that
can be seen is long blonde hair coming out the side of the hood. The
cloak is covering his entire body, and only his hands can be seen clasped
together on his lap. He sits slightly hunched over. Everywhere
around him in black. Then suddenly he begins to speak very quietly,
slowly, and deliberately, but we continue to not be able to see his face.

Voice: Everything is about to change. Everybody
is about to see what is true in this world. Everybody will know who
truly looks over everything and everybody in this world. I will change
the world, I will change everybody in the world, and I will change TNT Wrestling
forever. I know what people want to see, and I will give it to them.
I know who the people want to see, and I will it to them. I know
who they want to see win, and I will give that to them as well. I know
all. I am the almighty and all knowing being of the universe. I
have chosen the second coming. I have chosen the person who will lead
the world to peace and prosperity. I have finally found him, and I
will make him know, and I will make him understand his place. He will
be told when the time is right. He will understand, and he will obey.
.:: The voice stops suddenly.
Then we see the light flash off, and we are left with darkness. ::.
.:: We come to a TNT Wrestling
non-televised live event. the crowd is hot and ready for a great show
tonight. They wait in anticipation for what is next on the show. Then
Slither by Velvet Revolver hits the speakers. The crowd begins to cheer
as Billy Dee steps through the ropes and out on to the stage. He stops
for moment and looks out into the crowd. He then proceeds to make his
way down the ramp toward the ring. He gives the fans high fives along
the way. He climbs up the steps, through the ropes and into the ring.
He is handed a microphone from the ring announcer, and the announcer
exits the ring. Dee walks to the middle of the ring. The music
stops, and he puts the microphone to his mouth and begins to speak. ::.
The
main problem I am going to see going in to this match is wrestlers not taking
this match seriously enough. People not taking their opponents seriously enough. This is something that
makes me very angry. Well, it doesn't really make me very angry, it
makes me furious. How can someone take a match for the Hardcore Championship
lightly? How can someone call this title a crappy title? How?
I don't understand. This is a title that has been held by some
of the great wrestlers in TNT Wrestling. It was the first step they
took forward to greatness. It gave them the confidence to make even
bigger strides and do great things in TNT Wrestling. Who has held this
title? Rollin Thunder. He is a two-time TNT Wrestling Heavyweight
Champion. Jeremy Cundiff. He is a former TNT Wrestling World
Heavyweight Champion. Stonehart. He held the TNT Wrestling Heavyweight
Championship, and is now competing again this weekend for it. These
guys used this title to jump start their careers in TNT Wrestling, and to
put themselves on the map. How someone can call this title a piece
of crap metal? I guess the prestige of this title is lost on some people,
and it is those people that do not deserve to hold it.
.:: Billy Dee pauses for
a moment, clearly getting a little worked up. Then he continues after
taking a deep breath. ::.
You know who I'm talking about. I'm talking about Sean O'Callaghan.
He obviously doesn't understand the importance of the Hardcore Championship,
which says to me that he doesn't deserve to hold this title. He doesn't
deserve even the opportunity to hold this title, and it's unfortunate he's
getting this chance. Then, not only does he not respect this title,
but he clearly has no respect for his opponents either. Yes I beat
Sean O'Callaghan, I beat him in a very hard fought match. I mean I
beat him and I know he is a serious competitor. I beat Sean O'Callaghan,
and he says it'll be no trouble beating? No trouble beating a man who
beat him no more than a month ago? That makes no sense to me. If
I man beats me, I'm going to get myself more than ready for the match because
I know he can beat me. I'm going to get myself even more ready for
the match if it has a title on the line. I think you have the wrong
attitude Sean, and I think it will lead to your defeat.
.:: Billy takes a moment
to regain his composure, then he continues. ::.
You know what Sean, you are right about one thing though. I had won
my first three matches here in TNT Wrestling. Then I lost one, and
it was for the TV Title. Sure it hurt, sure it isn't what I wanted.
Sure it hurt my ego a little bit for a while. What you don't
understand is that I am more mentally strong than that. One defeat
isn't going to hurt my confidence so drastically. I'm going to learn
from my mistake and move on. I'm going to get better because of that
loss. It was something that had to happen, and now the pressure is
off. That first loss is out of the way, and it was a relief. I
can be more relaxed in the ring without that monkey on my back. Maybe
you think I'd react that way because it's the way you would react Sean. Maybe
you aren't as mentally strong as I am. Maybe after you lose this match
Sean, you'll be so hurt because you think it's going to be so easy that you'll
do what you always do and you'll go back to the bottle. Being an alcoholic
isn't something to be proud of, and it is a weakness. I will expose
that weakness Sean. I will expose that inner anger, that subconscious
doubt you have about yourself Sean. I'll expose it and use it to win
the match. Then when I'm holding the Hardcore Championship high over
my head, maybe you can go to an AA meeting and get yourself sorted out.
.:: Billy starts to chuckle
a little before he moves on. ::.
Sean, I love the way you have become an expert on mathematics and physics.
You've been able to determine how long it's going to take to knock
me out? That is ridiculous. Sean, coming up with plans, especially
ones that have to do with math and winning matches probably aren't good ones
while you are drunk. 7.2 seconds to hit me and knock me out? How
slow do you think my reflexes are? Do you think I'm going to stand
there for 7.2 seconds and let you hit me over the head with something and
knock me out? God no! I'm not stupid Sean. I mean maybe
that would be a great time for a drunken idiot like yourself. Maybe
that's fast for you, but while you're stumbling over to pick up whatever
it is you want to hit me with, I will have plenty of time to do any number
of things to beat you Sean. So stick to drinking, and leave the wrestling
to the professionals Sean. You aren't the happy go-lucky drunk you
want everyone to think. People drink excessively because they are sad.
Go get better, then try the wrestling thing over again.
.:: The crowd begins to give
cheer for Billy Dee and his confidence in this match. ::.
This brings me to a man that is the current Hardcore Champion, a man who
truly is Hardcore and deserves to hold a title like this one. This
brings me to Cory Beardwood. He is a man that exemplifies Hardcore
in its truest meaning. He will do anything to keep that title, and
that is something I can respect. Unfortunately though, while I do believe
he will put up a great fight, I do not believe he has what it takes to beat
me. I think that over time he has become to injured and too hurt to
compete as well as he once did. I think he is too worn down. Now
I know that if I take it easy, he'll do something drastic and probably hold
on to that title. I know I have to go out there and be ready for everything.
It's a match I can't wait for, and am really going to need to stay
focused for. I'll need to keep one eye on each guy, or else I could
lose the match without even being pinned. That is something I do not
want.
.:: Billy Dee gets a look
of intensity in his eyes just before he continues. ::.
The Hardcore Championship is something that I want and need, and I don't
think I can stress that enough. I need this title to finally get noticed
in TNT Wrestling. It is something I need so I can move up and wrestle
the best TNT has to offer. I need this gold. I need it so bad
I can almost taste it. I can almost feel the best wrapped around my
waist right now. It should be a glorious night in my life, and I can't
wait to get in the ring to get it started. It's only a couple of days
away. I hope Sean and Cory are preparing properly, because I know I
am, and it should be good.
.:: Slither by Velvet Revolver
hits the speakers once again. The crowd begins to cheer as Billy Dee
drops his microphone. He climbs through the ropes, down the steps and
out of the ring. He walks up the ramp giving high fives to the fans
the whole way up. He walks through the curtain and backstage. The
music stops and the show continues. ::.
