The crowd is waiting in anticipation for the next match to start.
Then Slither by Velvet Revolver begins to blast over the speakers of
the sold out TNT Wrestling audience. The crowd begins to cheer as Billy
Dee steps out from behind the curtain and on to the ramp. He is in
his wrestling attire as he stops at the top of the ramp for a moment and
listens to the crowd cheering him on. He then proceeds to walk down
the ramp toward the ring. He gives the fans high fives as he walks
down the ramp. He then walks around the ring and gives high fives to
the wrestling fans at ringside. He climbs up the steps, walks through
the ropes and into the ring. He walks to the middle of the ring where
the ring announcer hands him his microphone. The music stops, and he
begins to address the rabid TNT Wrestling fans. ::.
What a night it
was last Sunday night at October Terror. It was an incredible feeling.
I wrestled in front of I don't know how many tens of thousands of wrestling
fans packed into that stadium. It was the most incredible feeling of
my life. I went into the ring with all of those UWA fans cheering and
going wild. I went into the ring with all of those fans cheering for
Steve X-Treme, and all of them booing me. I went into that match with
something to prove. Not only did I have to prove to the UWA fans that
TNT Wrestling was going to be superior, but I also had to prove to TNT Wrestling
that I am someone to reckon with. That is what I had to prove to the
wrestlers in the back. I wanted to prove to them that I can beat any
one at any time. I know I was the underdog going into that match. I
had nothing but one match under my belt. I mean my opponent was the
champion of all of UWA Television, and I managed to defeat him. I also
wanted to prove to the suits in TNT Wrestling that I am, and can compete
with anyone. All I need is a chance to shine, and I'll be better than
they could have ever imagined. All I need is a chance to show off what
I can do, and I'll prove to everyone that I have what it takes, just as I've
always said, to be the best in TNT Wrestling.
.:: Billy Dee stops for a
moment as the crowd begins to cheer. He then continues. ::.
Steve X-Treme, I can see why you're the UWA Television Champion. You
are a good competitor and a good wrestler. You deserve to hold that
title. I proved though that I deserve even better than that though.
I proved that I deserve chances to prove myself against even better
talent than the UWA TV Champion. I proved that I have what it takes
to make a name for myself in TNT Wrestling. All I'm asking for is a
chance. I am finally given a chance on Sunday night. At Mayhem,
I wasn't even supposed to have a match. I wasn't supposed to be on
the card. I talked to Kent Strong, and he agreed that the only way
I'd be able to make a name for myself is if I were to wrestle. We discussed
the way I was the underdog and I beat Steve X-Treme at Terror. Maybe
lightning can strike twice, and I can beat yet another UWA wrestler.
.:: The crowd begins to cheer
at the thought of a TNT wrestler beating a UWA wrestler. ::.
I think lightning can, and will strike twice. At Mayhem I will be wrestling
against K-Nyne. I really know nothing about K-Nyne. I know he
did not wrestle at October Terror, and that would have been my first real
chance to see him wrestle. I know about him though, I've asked around.
I know he's a talented wrestler, and I plan on preparing to be at my
best for this match against him. I know that I can expect the same
from him, and I hope I can expect the same from him. I don't want to
hear any excuses from him. I want to hear that he gave it his best,
but he just wasn't good enough to beat me. I want to hear him say that
Billy Dee is better than K-Nyne.
.:: The crowd cheers and
Billy Dee gets a huge grin on his face. ::.
I want people to see that win, and believe that TNT Wrestling is bigger and
better than the United Wrestling Alliance. I know that what is about
to start is going to be huge. I know that TNT Wrestling versus the
United Wrestling Alliance is going to be the greatest thing to ever happen
to professional wrestling. I know it is going to be great, and I'm
glad I joined TNT Wrestling when I did so I can be a part of it, and so I
can help TNT Wrestling anyway I can, and I will. I want to thank Kent
Strong for his opportunity to help TNT Wrestling. I will show all of
the TNT Wrestling fans that I am the real deal, and that I will help TNT
Wrestling in their impending victory. We won most of the matches at
Terror, and we'll win the rest of the ones yet to come. I am TNT Wrestling
through and through. I know I'm new, but I know what it's like to be
a part of a team, and I'm proud to be part of the TNT Wrestling team!!!
.:: The crowd begins to cheer once
again. Slither by Velvet Revolver hits the speakers. Billy Dee
drops the microphone and raises his arms in the air. Dee then walks
over the ropes and climbs through the ropes, down the steps and out of the
ring. He makes his way back up the ramp giving high fives to the fans.
He then makes his way through the curtain and backstage. The
music stops and the show continues. ::.
