.::  The crowd at the local TNT Wrestling non-televised live event is stirring as they wait for the next event to get started.  Then suddenly Slither by Velvet Revolver blasts over the speakers.  The crowd begins to cheer as Billy Dee emerges from behind the curtain and on to the ramp.  He has a bandage over his head from where K-Nyne busted him open last week.  He stops at the top of the ramp for a moment and looks out at the sold out audience.  He then walks down the ramp and makes his way down the ramp and toward the ring.  He gives the fans high fives as he walks down the ramp.  He climbs up the steps, through the ropes, and into the ring.  He walks to the ring announcer who hands him a microphone.  The music stops as he walks to the middle of the ring.  He then proceeds to address the crowd.  ::.

Last Sunday night was another great night, not only for myself, but for TNT Wrestling as well.  While it will probably mark the end of the war between the United Wrestling Alliance and TNT Wrestling, TNT Wrestling looked the strongest in its finish, a finish that was very anti-climatic.  I guess that's the way it goes when one side realizes they are out matched and quits part way through.  I guess that's what happens when TNT Wrestling tries to start a war with the United Wrestling Alliance, and they finally realize they are no match for the strength that is TNT Wrestling.  The UWA wanted to show its supremacy over TNT Wrestling, but it was just the opposite that happened.  TNT Wrestling showed the UWA where the number one stars truly exist.  This is why I waited for Marcel to let me aboard in TNT Wrestling, because I wanted to go with the best wrestlers in the world compete.  If I couldn't get in to TNT Wrestling, my second choice would have been UWA, but I knew that TNT Wrestling was where I wanted to be.  I knew TNT Wrestling was the number one wrestling company in the world, and we have proved it over the past two shows, and we will continue to prove it by showing the best wrestling, and the best performers the world has ever seen.  I say to UWA, best of luck to you.  I wish you all the success in the world, but I hope you always enjoy being number two.

Not only was it sweet to win two matches in a row against UWA wrestlers, but it was even nicer to beat a man with a big mouth last week.  It was nice to beat K-Nyne last week.  It was the sweetest victory I have had since I joined TNT Wrestling.  It was sweet because I beat a UWA wrestler, but it was also nice to beat a man with a big mouth.  K-Nyne is a wrestler who lacks many basic skills in the ring, but he continues to run his mouth about everyone and everything he disagrees with.  He doesn't like TNT Wrestling, and he ran his mouth about that.  He obviously doesn't like me, and he ran his mouth about that.  Then he lost the match, and he ran his mouth about that too.  K-Nyne just doesn't know when to shut his mouth.  He just doesn't know when he has met his match, and he had certainly met more than his match last Sunday night.

.::  The crowd cheers once again for the K-Nyne put-downs this time.  ::.

All of that is behind me though.  All of that is in the past and I need to start looking toward the future.  Sure remembering the good times is always fun, but I need to keep my focus so I can keep up my streak of success.  At the time, that match against K-Nyne was the biggest match of my career.  Now I have an even bigger match coming up at the next Mayhem.  Apparently the man who is the current TNT Wrestling Television Champion, Adam Lax, is out with an injury.  He was injured, which leaves the Television Title vacant.  This match is probably an opportunity I would not have gotten had Adam Lax not been injured.  My opponent is Xander Kross, and he is the one who put Adam Lax on the shelf.  If Lax had not been injured, then I'm certain he would have loved to have gotten a chance to wrestle Kross, and he would have put his title on the line I'm sure.  I was simply thrown into the match because of my undefeated record so far.  It really is fortunate for me.

Now I go into this match knowing what my opponent is all about.  I go into this match against Xander Kross, and I've seen him in the ring a few times.  From what I have seen, he has been very impressive.  He has shown me that he has what it takes to wrestle with some of the top guys in the wrestling industry.  The problem I see with Kross is that he might be just a little too over-confident.  He thinks he has this match in the bag before it has even started.  I know I might be a rookie in TNT Wrestling, but that is no reason to take me lightly.  He is going to find that out first hand, the same way Sean O'Callaghan, Steve Xtreme, and K-Nyne found that out.  I will wrestle Kross with the same intensity I wrestle everyone with.  I know he is talented, and I know he has the drive to injure wrestlers in the ring.  He proved that last Mayhem.  I don't wrestle to hurt or injure people, I wrestle to win matches and prove my worth.  I wrestle to win matches, to win respect, and to win titles.  This Sunday I have a chance to win my first title, and I plan on winning it.  However, if I am put in a situation to either injure or be injured, I will injure.  I will cause injury to save myself Kross.

.::  The crowd begins to cheer once again.  ::.

I listened to what Kross had to say, and I find it funny how he feels he is better than the TV Title.  The TV Title is an important belt to be wearing.  It proves that you are the best wrestler competing on TNT Wrestling television.  I don't think that is something to be scoffed at.  That is something to be proud of, and Adam Lax had something to be proud of when held that title, and I will have something to be proud of when I win that title at Mayhem.  When I win that title, I will be a fighting champion.  The TV Title is a title that is to be defended on TV whenever there is TV.  If I win the Television Championship belt, I plan on defending it on every Mayhem.  I plan on bringing some prestige to this title that it has never had.  I plan on being the best TV Champion of all time, and I plan on being the fightingest TV Champion of all time.  I must have proved something to someone to earn this shot at the title, and I plan on making the best of this situation.

Now Xander Kross, I know I say this to everyone, and I'm going to say it to you too.  I hope that you bring your best on Sunday, because you're going to need it.  If you don't bring it, you will soon regret letting this opportunity slip through your fingers.  I refuse to let it slip through mine.  I know you think you are above being the TV Champion now, but after I beat you and am wearing the TV Title belt around my waist, you might think twice about whether or not you truly are better than the TV Title division.

.::  Slither by Velvet Revolver hits the speakers once again.  Billy Dee drops the microphone and walks over to the ropes, climbs through the ropes, down the steps and out of the ring.  He walks back up the ramp toward the entrance.  He is giving fans high fives the way up the ramp.  He walks through the curtain and to the back.  The music stops and the show continues.  ::.
