Chrissy Hunt's Tribute
June 20, 2007
It's hard to believe that Elizabeth has been gone for 4 years now. I remember just like yesterday finding out she had died. It had been a week or so since looking anything Elizabeth up, so I went to www.MissElizabeth.Com and found the message about Elizabeth's untimely death. It sent a continuous plethora of cold chills down my body, and I immediately started crying. How could Miss Elizabeth be dead?
Four years later I still cry for a life lost too soon. Elizabeth was such a monument in my life. No childhood memory is complete without her in it. I wanted to BE Elizabeth.
Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet her while she was alive. However, a week ago I was able to make it to her grave to pay her what I consider the ultimate tribute. Through her I found one of my best friends, Renee. She was also on the trip with me, as it wouldn't have been complete without her. While I can't describe the feeling I had whiled there, I know she was there. She has the same presence in death as she did while she was still alive.
There are so many things I wish I could say, but there are simply no words to describe such a magnificent woman. She's given hope to so many people. She's made a huge impact on so many people's lives and I only wish she knew what she meant to her fans. Sadly, I don't think that she knew exactly how many people idolized and loved her. But through her, her fans have found each other, and by that, we are able to keep her memory alive.
I can honestly say, that for the rest of my life, Elizabeth will always be a part of it.
