Interview with Syren!February 10, 2010
Quick Highlights--Debut: 2000--Trained by Chris Hayes & Jillian Hall JM: How did you get your start in professional wrestling, was it anything you expected? Syren: It was not what I expected at all. I was attending shows in Georgetown, Kentucky when they announced for people to call the hotline if they wanted to start training. I called for three months and someone finally called me back. Training was very tough. Part of it was setting up the ring for the show that night. After the ring was set up I was already exhausted and my training started. I trained for 6 months before I had my first match. Not the best match in the world but I thought it was GREAT! JM: Were you a fan growing up, if so who were some of your favorites? Syren: I was not a fan until I saw The Brood. When I saw them come up out of the floor in a ring of fire and Edge slid into the ring I was hooked. JM: What are some of your greatest Highlights? Syren: Wrestling was the highlight of my life so each opportunity I had in wrestling was a highlight. JM: Your taking time away from wrestling, will we see you make a comeback anytime soon? Syren: I will probably not return. I love spending time with my family and I can't imagine traveling again. JM: Do you see yourself in the TNA or WWE in the near Future? Syren: No, I never wanted to go that far and be away from my family all the time. I was happy right where I was at. JM: Who would you like to mix it up with in the ring, a WWE Diva or a TNA Knock-out? Syren: Considering what I have seen on WWE lately I would have to say someone from TNA. JM: Name Association Game Chris Hayes - Trainer Jillian Hall - Teacher Malia Hosaka - Friend for life Evil Zebra - Team PMA - Wonderful Friend Cameron Starr - Hillarious - I loved working with her Vanessa Harding - Hardcore match Sin D - My first match Kiley McLean - OUCH! Alicia - One of the nicest girls you will meet JM: You and Malia Hosaka are team PMA along with EZ... I'm sure there were some great times, how did the idea come about to work as a team? Syren: Well they had Team M&M with Malia and Mercedes (Jillian Hall). I became friends with EZ through his yahoo group (which everyone who likes wrestling should be a part of). We became Team PMA and I met him and Malia in Buffalo, NY for our first show as Team PMA! We have been friends ever since. JM: who's your Toughest Opponent? Syren: I would have to say Malia because I strived to be the best that I could be every match. When you are working with someone of her caliber you want to step up and do your best. She is a wonderful friend and an outstanding role model. JM: So, what's the story with Kentucky ANTBURGERS and Spaghetti with Applesauce? Syren: HAHA I was on the phone with EZ one day and my Mom had cooked some cheeseburgers. I sat down with my cheeseburger and yelled OH MY GOSH THAT ANT IS HUGE! EZ thought I had found an ant in my cheeseburger. Of course the ant was crawling across the floor but it really was the biggest ant I had ever seen! Spaghetti and applesauce is something my brother started. He said he first did it to cool the spaghetti off and realized how good it tasted so we all started putting it on our spaghetti. You can't do this with just any spaghetti for it to taste this good, it has to be my moms homemade spaghetti. JM: Any advice for fans who want to follow there dreams?
Syren:
