Backstage Raw Notes:

- WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn was not backstage at RAW last night. Coincidence or not, the broadcast was full of production errors.

Many backstage are not happy with the racial direction that WWE is taking the Booker T/Triple H feud. They feel it is the wrong way to promote the match.

Jim Ross told Jerry Lawler on-air to think more about what he is saying, in response to making comments about whether Maven should be able to wrestle Triple H. Lawler defended himself by saying that he was only repeating what Triple H said. Many backstage were happy to see Ross tell Lawler off on the air in what appeared to not be worked comments.

The wrestler shown talking backstage to Maven was Shark Boy (without his mask).

Raw Rating:

WWE RAW scored a 4.0 rating last night, down from a 4.5 last week.

This is obviously not a good sign for the company that had high hopes for Steve Austin's return sparking a ratings bump, but after just one week, numbers are back down to pre-Austin levels.

The show also featured the Rock as well as a well built Rock/Hurricane match. That, coupled with the usual WrestleMania bump, does not bode well for the 4.0 rating.
