Goldberg News:

As previously reported, Goldberg signed with WWE last week and all the final paperwork has been processed. At this point, Goldberg could appear at WrestleMania, but likely only in a small cameo role.

The general feeling is that Goldberg will debut the night after WrestleMania (RAW next Monday) to kick-start what is always a big push by WWE following their biggest show of the year. Both Goldberg and WWE have been trying to keep the signing under wraps, and it worked as news did not leak of the signing until about a week after it happened. Still though, news has broke before his first appearance.

It appears that Goldberg will be working a near full-time schedule for WWE. One of the most debated issues between the two sides has been how many dates Goldberg would work. All major sources (Wade Keller, Dave Meltzer, Dave Scherer) are now reporting that Goldberg has signed with WWE.

On a side note, for those who haven't noticed, WWE has created a brand new World Heavyweight Championship belt which is currently carried by Triple H. The previous championship featured the WCW logo and the words WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING while the new title features the WWE name and logo.

The only confirmed event for tonight's RAW is The Rock's "concert". You know that Steve Austin will be involved in some capacity. There are rumors of a match involving Booker T, Goldust, Ric Flair, and HHH, or any combination of the four. Additionally, we should get some sort of update on the status of the tag titles.
