The more you show up, the more title matches you will get. UCW Houseshow Results: 03/23/02 During the weekend, UCW had a Houseshow event with two exciting UCW World Heavyweight Title Tournament Matches. UCW World Title Tournament Results: First Round Matches: Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. Chris Jericho This was one of the most brutal matches in the history of the sport. Hollywood Hulk Hogan quickly punished Jericho with powerful right and left punches. Hogan took Y2J down with a tremendous Powerslam, followed by a series of elbow drops. Hogan attempted a big boot, but Y2J ducked and Hogan leveled the referee! With the referee down, Hogan took out a pair of brass knuckles! Unaware that Hollywood had he weapon, Y2J charged him. Hulk Hogan completely knocked out Jericho with a powerul right hand punch with the brass knuckles! With Jericho down, Hogan left the ring and pulled out a table. He put the table into the ring and set it up. The referee was still unconscious when Hulk Hogan climbed on top of the table and brought Jericho with him. The crowd stood shocked as they watched Hulk Hogan pick Jericho up and send him crashing through the wooden table head first with a Piledriver! Hogan quickly rolled Jericho on to his back, and covered Y2J. A new referee ran into the ring and counted 1, 2, 3! Hulk Hogan was declared the winner. Winner: Hollywood Hulk Hogan Hogan will now advance to the Quaterfinals to fight Rob Van Dam. But, after the match, Chris Jericho was rushed to the Hospital. Nobody knows what his condition is, but we are sure that he will be out of action for quite some time. The Rock vs. Scott Hall The other Tournament match featured The Rock against Scott Hall. The Brahma Bull quickly attacked Hall with lefts and rights, and nearly one the contest with a DDT. However, Scott Hall fought back with an illegal low blow, followed by a series of suplexes and knee strikes. The Rock as able to fight back and drop Scott Hall with a Spinebuster! Then, The Rock quickly attempted the People's Elbow! But, Scott moved out of the way and Rock hit the canvas. A stunned Rock stumbled forward and right into Scott Hall. Hall quickly set Rock up and finished him off with the Outsider's Edge! Winner: Scott Hall Scott Hall wil now face DDP in the Quarter Finals. UCW Live! Results: 03/18/02 Monday's UCW Live! was as explosive as ever. There was a Title Match and one amazing Grudge Match. Hardcore Title Match Scott Hall vs. Bret Hart Scott Hall is easily one of the dirtiest players in the game. After attacking Bret Hart two weeks ago in the UCW Title Tournament, Bret was fueled with revenge. The match began with Scott beating down Bret with a few punches, and then tossing him out of the ring. Scott followed Bret to the outside and whipped him into the steel steps. Hall grabbed a chair and attempted to bash Hart's brains in. But, Bret quickly reacted and dropkicked the chair back into Scott Hall's face! Bret quickly pulled a table out from under the ring and pushed it into the ring. Bret and Scott quickly slid into the ring. Bret was able to grab Scott's legs and turn him in the Sharp Shooter! Hall frantically refused to submit. He scrambled toward the ropes, but before he could reach them, he reached a steel chair that was tossed into the ring. Hall was able to turn onto his stomach and level Bret on his head with a chair shot! Bret released the Sharp Shooter and hit the mat. Scott quickly stood up and assembled the wooden table. The crowd jumped to their feet and stood in shock. Scott Hall picked Bret up and put him on the top turnbuckle in one of the corners with his back to the ring. Scott was able to set Bret up, raise him above his head, and throw Bret Hart through the wooden table with a Top Rope Outsider's Edge! The move destroyed Bret and slowed down Scott. However, Hall was able to crawl on top of Bret and cover him for the 1, 2, 3! Scott Hall quickly grabbed his Hardcore Title and walked backstage. Winner: New Hardcore Champion, Scott Hall Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Booker T Stone Cold and Booker T made their way to the ring, both getting great ovations from the crowd. The match started and these two titans came out swinging. They nailed each other with rights and lefts. Booker T took the advantage after nailing Stone Cold with a knee to his gut. Booker whipped Austin into the ropes and quickly leveled him with a superkick to his chin! Booker kept the pace fast as he whipped Austin into the ropes, picked him up, and dropped him with a Powerslam. After getting a two count, Booker ran into the ropes. Austin ducked a clothesline and Booker T ran into the other set of ropes. The crowd cheered as Stone Cold jumped up and landed on Booker with a Lou Thez Press! Austin nailed Booker T with a few mounted punches and then nailed an elbow drop on him. Booker regained the advantage however with a powerful sidekick. After a few minutes of beating down Austin with kicks, punches, and slams, Booker set the Rattlesnake up, and leveled him with his Axe Kick, followed by the Spineroonie! Booker waited for Austin to stand up. When he did, Booker charged Austin and tried a Harlem Sidekick. But, Austin ducked and attempted a Stunner! However, Booker countered and pushed Austin into the ropes. Booker Man quickly attempted to finish the match with a Book End, but Austin fought him off with elbow jabs to the back of Booker's head. A dazed Booker walked away from Stone Cold, but when he turned around, Austin flipped Booker T off, kicked him in his gut, and drilled Booker T with the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin quickly jumped on top of Booker, hooked his legs, and got the 1, 2, 3! Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin After the match, Scott Hall ran down to the ring and slid in. He and Austin quickly fought in the center of the ring, trading rights and lefts. Hall nailed three rights in a row and whipped Austin forward. But, Austin reversed the Irish Whip and threw Scott into the ropes. Austin quickly charged Hall and clotheslined the Hardcore Champion over the top rope! The glass shattered and Stone Cold celebrated in the ring with beer after beer after beer! Scott Hall stared on from the entrance stage as Stone Cold continued to drink and UCW Live! ended. UCW Live! Side Notes: Shawn Michaels missed UCW Live! due to injuries suffered by Scott Hall's attack two weeks ago. At Code Blue, Shawn Michaels will return to fight Scott Hall in a Title For Title Ladder Match for both the European and Hardcore Titles! UCW Live! Results: 03/04/02 UCW World Title Tournament Results: There were three UCW World Title Tournament matches Monday. First Round Matches Booker T vs. Raven Booker T and Raven squared off in this First Round Match. Raven dominated the beginning of the match with a bulldog and several clotheslines. The turning point of the match was when Booker T countered The Raven Effect and chopped Raven with an Axe Kick. Booker T covered Raven and advanced to the next round. Winner: Booker T Chyna vs. Rob Van Dam Rob Van Dam showed no respect to Chyna and quickly attacked her from behind with a Super Kick. A shocked Chyna lay on the mat as RVD climbed the top rope, jumped off, and landed on her with the Five Star Frog Splash! RVD hooked Chyna's legs and got the 1, 2, 3. Winner: Rob Van Dam Bret Hart vs. Kevin Nash Bret Hart and Kevin Nash waged a war on each other in this match. They battled in the ring, outside the ring, in the crowd, on top of the Announcers' Table, and back into the ring. The match picked up even more when Kevin Nash attempted a big boot, but Bret countered him, grabbed Nash's leg, pushed him on to the mat, and turned Big Daddy into the Sharp Shooter. Nash scrambled toward the ropes, trying not to give in. Suddenly, the nWo's Scott Hall ran down to the ring and jumped on to the apron. He distracted the referee and stood on the ring apron. Bret Hart released Nash from the Sharp Shooter and yelled at Scott Hall. From behind, Kevin Nash stood up and charged Bret Hart. But, Bret moved out of the way, and Kevin Nash nailed Scott Hall with his big boot! Hall fell off of the apron as Bret Hart turned Kevin Nash around, planted him with a DDT, and covered him for the win! Bret left the ring before Hall and Nash knew what happened. Winner: Bret Hart Those were the three UCW World Title Tournament Matches that occured Monday. UCW also crowned a new European Champion in a Four-Man Tournament. UCW European Title Tournament: Semi-Final Matches DDP vs. Bret Hart Bret Hart and DDP fought a very technically sound match. The big spots were when DDP caught Bret from surprise and dropped him with the Diamond Cutter. Somehow, Bret kicked out. A frustrated DDP left the ring and grabbed a chair. He slid back into the ring and waited for Bret to get up. But, Bret nailed Page in his stomach, forcing him to drop the chair. The crowd cheered as Bret Hart picked up the chair and leveled DDP with a chair shot to his head! The cheers turned to boos when the referee called for the bell and disqualified Bret Hart! Bret was so furious, he turned around and leveled the referee with a chair shot to his head! Bret left both DDP and the referee out cold in the ring. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page Shawn Michaels vs. Raven HBK and Raven was short and sweet for WWF fans. Raven quickly attempted a Raven Effect, but Shawn pushed him into the ropes, and caught him on the rebound, right on his chin, with Sweet Chin Music! HBK covered Raven and got the 1, 2, 3! Winner: Shawn Michaels UCW European Title Tournament: Finals Match Shawn Michaels vs. DDP HBK and DDP were both thirsty for UCW Gold. DDP struck first and nailed HBK with a Tornado DDT, followed by a Diamond Cutter. DDP went for the cover and thought he had the title. But, Shawn Michaels somehow kicked out! DDP ran into the ropes and charged HBK. Michaels quickly picked DDP up and dropped him on to the match with a Powerslam! HBK went top rope and attempted his Elbow Drop! But, at the last minute, DDP moved as HBK hit the mat! DDP tried to take advantage of a shocked Shawn Michaels with an attempted Diamond Cutter! However, HBK pushed Page into the ropes and knocked DDP out cold with his Sweet Chin Music! The crowd roared as HBK covered DDP, hooked both of his legs, and won the European Title! Winner: New European Champion, Shawn Michaels After the match, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash attacked HBK from behind. Kevin dropped Shawn with a Jack Knife Powerbomb! Scott Hall took HBK's new European Title belt, and smashed it against Michael's face! Hall pulled out the spray paint and once again tried to leave the nWo mark. However, the glass broke and out raced Stone Cold Steve Austin! Stone Cold slid into the ring and went straight for Nash! Austin and Nash attacked each other with powerful rights and lefts. Austin quickly kicked Nash in his gut and dropped him with the Stone Cold Stunner! Nash fell out of the ring and Austin chased after him. Stone Cold chased Nash up the entrance ramp and beat him into the backstage area. Meanwhile, inside the ring, Scott Hall picked up Shawn Michaels, lifted him up above his head, and dropped HBK with the Outsider's Edge! Shawn hit the mat and rolled on to his stomach. Hall took this opportunity and spray painted the N-W-O letters on HBK's back! The nWo music played as UCW Live! came to an end.
