From
WCPW owner Will Louden
After months of internal discussions I have come to some conclusions:
1st) I haven't had the greatest success recently in running shows.
2nd) I made
many mistakes
3rd) Most of you online want me to just disappear.
Well as much as I hate to disappoint people I am going to have to do it. I fought
for months whether I should go away like people want or should I give it one
more try. See when I started this company I had a vision of what I wanted to
do. A vision of starting a wrestling company and doing well at it. Little did
I know what was needed at first. So I promoted my first show which flopped by
some peoples’ standards but I considered a success since it was my first
show. Then I promoted more shows. Some did okay and others didn't. In my first
3 shows one thing was certain, everyone that was supposed to get paid, did indeed
get paid. Well then things changed somehow. My best friend, Martin (known as
Ref Martin to some of you), who had always been there for me had some problems
and wasn't able to help the company as much as he wanted. So I panicked. I took
on another partner, a man that I consider a friend. For some reason we never
clicked on what needed to be done and so things went downhill. Things got delayed,
not everyone got paid. By no means am I trying to shift blame for the recent
problems but I will not shoulder 100 percent of it either. All I can do is make
it up to people. Right now, Martin and others near me have been pushing me to
run at least one more show. Some of the wrestlers have asked me if and when
I am going to run a show again. Another person I met through the business told
me that if I run again I should take care of all of those that have been there
for me, from staff to wrestlers. So I, with the help of Martin and those that
have been with me from the beginning, am going to do at least one more show.
Not for us really but to make it up to the wrestlers that have been there for
us and for the staff that always was willing to help out. People will get paid
and advertising will be done. Whether we do another after that remains to be
seen as does how well the show will do. But after it's over I will be able to
say that at least I did the best I could possibly do. Really that is all anyone
can do in this business. In closing I would like to thank those who have helped
me in the past from the wrestlers, staff and fans. If you must bash me, do so
for I know most of you will. It doesn't bother us anymore what the internet
people say about us. It’s all about making things right. Our next show
"ATONEMENT" will be announced as soon as we have a date and location.
