WWL North American Championship: Goldust(c) Vs Kurt Angle

The pay per view starts off with Kurt Angle’s music and his pyros. Angle walks to the ring for his title shot. ‘A Shattered Dreams Production’ is next as the North American Champion is out. Goldust taunts Kurt in the ring with some provocative motions. Kurt looks upset and lands some hard punches on the North American Champion. Kurt sends him to the ropes and hits a beautiful dropkick. Kurt sets Goldust up for a suplex, but Goldust sneaks behind him and takes Angle down with a bulldog. Goldust hits an elbow drop and applies a figure-four on the challenger. Angle reaches the ropes, breaking the hold. Kurt and Goldust exchange fists, until Goldust lands a hard right that sends Kurt over the top rope. Goldust follows him out as the fight spills to the outside. Goldust rams Angle’s head into the turnbuckle post, opening a gash in Kurt’s head. Goldust lands some kicks while Angle is down. Kurt gets up and flips Goldust over him. He rolls Goldust back in the ring and takes the momentum. Angle uses his technical advantage, and then sets the champion up for an Angle Slam. As he lifts him, Goldust jumps out of the slam and kicks Kurt in the midsection. He hits a DDT and a quick cover. Kurt kicks out, but Goldust keeps the pressure on. Goldust slams Angle into the corner, and sets him up for the Golden Globes kick. The referee is having none of that and blocks Goldust. Kurt gets off the ropes and runs at Goldust, connecting with a clothesline. Kurt wipes the blood from his face as assaults Goldust with kicks. Goldust gets up and tries a punch, but Kurt blocks it and hits the Angle Slam. He then applies the ankle lock, winning the WWL NA Championship.

JR: What a great match to open up the action here tonight.

Brain: My Olympic hero has WWL gold!

Finkel: Your winner and a new WWL North American Champion......Kurt Angle!

Interview

Paul Robinson is standing by with Triple H.

PR: Triple H, the word around the locker room is that the Prez has made yuor match with Booker T for the #1 contendership. The winner meets the champ this Thursday night.

HHH: You damn right Paul. I'm about to go out there and show Booker T how to play the game. When that is all said and done, the title is mine.

PR: That's only if you beat Book.....

HHH: I WILL! I'm the game, and I'm that damn good! Rock, Vampiro, it don't matter to me either way.

Triple H Vs Booker T

The Game’s music plays as Triple H heads out. He does his entrance, spitting the water into the crowd. ‘Can You Dig It, Sucka?’ comes on and the Milwaukee crowd erupts as Booker T comes out. The two former n.W.o buddies stare down in the middle of the ring. Triple H throws the first punch, but Booker blocks it and lands some of his own. Booker T whips HHH to the ropes and hits a sidekick on him. Booker lifts him up and hits a fisherman suplex. Triple H scurries away from Booker T. They lock up again, and this time Triple H hits a knee to the gut. He lands some right hands and a neckbreaker takedown. He puts Booker T in an STF, but Booker escapes with a desperation elbow shot to the face. Booker T runs off the ropes and tries a kick, but HHH catches his leg. Booker hops on one foot before hitting an insegeuri. Hunter goes down and Booker gets a close 2 count. Booker T hits a brainbuster for another close count. He sends Hunter running off the ropes, and flips him over the top and to the outside. With Triple H down on the outside, Booker T motions for the spineroonie. He starts to do it, but what looks to be a fan jumps the barricade and hits Booker in the back of the head with a spinning heel kick. A close up reveals that it is X-Pac!

JR: What is his business here? He’s on the shelf for another 6 months or so.

Brain: Well, he’s still working closely with the Prez behind the scenes. Or did you forget that?

Hunter gets back in the ring and hits a spinebuster on Booker. He follows it up with the pedigree for the win.

Finkel: Here is your winner, The Game, Triple H!

WWL World Tag Team Championship: Dark Lords(c) Vs Sid Vicious & Abdul Al-Salaam

‘Psycho’ hits the speakers as Sid Vicious and Abdul Al-Salaam come out to deafening boos and taunts from the crowd. The tag team champions, Michael and Black Shadow come out to a better reception. Michael starts the match by hitting a kick on Abdul Al-Salaam. Michael connects with some chops until Salaam hits an elbow to Michael’s face. Abdul runs off the ropes and hits a spinning heel kick on the big man. He hits a legdrop and tags in Sid Vicious. The two near 7 footers battle it out in a test of giants. Sid hits a big bodyslam and gets on his knees to land successive punches to the head of the tag champion. Abdul is tagged back in, giving Michael a chance to tag out as well. Black Shadow hits a kneelift on Abdul and takes him down with a headbutt. Shadow hits a big splash for a near fall. Abdul connects with a dropkick and bring Sid back in. Sid hits some forearms and sets Shadow up for a powerbomb. Michael runs in and breaks it up. Black Shadow hits a belly-to-belly on Sid and applies a Boston crab. This time it is Abdul who breaks it up. Sid and Salaam double-team Black Shadow with their combination of speed and strength. Abdul tires Shadow out in the ring, while Sid Vicious attacks Michael on the outside. Sid whips Michael into the barricades, knocking him out. The double-teaming on Black Shadow continues until Sid Vicious finally hits a powerbomb and Abdul covers him for the win.

Finkel: Here are your winners, and new WWL Tag Team Champions, Abdul Al-Salaam and Sid Vicious!

With Black Shadow still down on the mat, Shane McMahon runs out at full speed to take advantage. He kicks Shadow, who seems to be lying unconscious.

JR: Oh, what an opportunist Shane is.

Brain: I guess it’s time for their match.

WWL Hardcore Championship: Shane McMahon(c) Vs Black Shadow

The bell sounds as Shane beats on Black Shadow. Shane brings a steel chair into the ring and connects with shots to the kidneys. Shane McMahon laughs out loud as he is having an easy time with his KO’ed opponent. Shane makes a non-chalant cover, and to everyone’s surprise, Black Shadow kicks out. The place gets louder as Shadow gets back on his feet. McMahon looks shocked and Black Shadow releases his anger with punches, kicks, chops, slaps, taking it to Shane any way he can. Black Shadow goes outside the ring and grabs a fire extinguisher from under the ring. McMahon follows him outside and Shadow shoots the foam on Shane’s face. He then hits him on the head with it. Shadow pulls off the protective mats and hits the Black Death DDT on the exposed concrete. Shadow gets the pin and wins the WWL Hardcore Championship.

As Shadow holds the belt up, a mysterious man covered in a hooded cloak runs out. He attacks the new hardcore champ and pulls back his hood to reveal his face.

: JR: Oh no! It’s The Undertaker!

Brain: Taker’s back!

The Undertaker hits the Last Ride on Black Shadow. Michael runs out for the save, but Undertaker and Shane escape through the crowd.

JR: What the hell? Why did The Undertaker attack Black Shadow and what’s he doing with Shane McMahon?

Brain: Only I know the answers to that.

JR: Oh, just shut up please.

Finkel: Your new hardcore champion, Black Shadow!

Stephanie McMahon Vs TJ

Stephanie McMahon is waiting in the ring as TJ comes running out. TJ spears her down and unloads with punches and slaps. She scoops Stephanie up and whips her into the turnbuckle. TJ runs across the ring for a dropkick, but Stephanie moves out of the way and TJ hits the turnbuckle post. Stephanie then kicks her in the midsection and hits a DDT. She starts to climb the turnbuckle and gets to the top, but TJ gets up and throws Steph off the turnbuckle. TJ goes to the top and jumps off, hitting a top rope leg drop. She makes the cover, but Stephanie manages to kick out. TJ lifts her up and hits a superkick on Stephanie. She goes back up to the tope and hits a hurricanrana. She picks Steph up and hits the Twist of Fate for the win.

Finkel: Your winner is, TJ!

30 Minute Iron Man IC Championship Match: Edge(c) Vs Christian

The opera music and pyros go off as Christian comes out to his elaborate entrance. “Never Gonna Stop’ hits and the WWL Intercontinental Champion runs out next. Christian waists no time in attacking Edge. He hits some forearms and a clothesline. Edge comes back with some chops, but Christian sweeps Edge’s feet out from under him and covers for a quick 1 count. Christian whips Edge off the ropes and connects with a dropkick. He controls the match for the first 5 minutes, with several near falls. After 10 minutes, Christian attempts an Unprettier, but Edge grabs his legs and rolls him up. Christian reverses the package and rolls Edge up for the first 3 count.

Brain: Christian is up 1-0. Woo-hoo!

Edge is shocked with the pin and tries rolling Christian back up. Christian reverses the package again and gets his second 3 count.

JR: 2-0. It doesn’t look good for the champion.

Christian gets cocky and turns his back on Edge, showing off to the crowd. Edge gets up and spears Christian for the 3 count, making the score 2-1. Edge doesn’t let up and tries another cover, but Christian kicks out. Christian hits a reverse DDT for a close 2 count. Edge fights back and puts the challenger in a crossface. Christian taps out, evening the core. They battle without another pin until the 25th minute. Edge and Christian fight on the outside, and Edge throws him into the barricades. Edge rolls back in and Christian is counted out. Christian is furious and picks up a steel chair. He gets back in the ring and threatens to hit Edge with it.

Brain: Don’t do it, you’ll be disqualified!

Christian lets his temper consume him and nails Edge in the head with the chair. The ref DQ’s him, making the score 4-2. Christian covers his unconscious brother for another pin. He is about to pin him again, but instead walks around the ring, knowing Edge is defenseless. He finally decides to cover him, but as he gets on him, the 30 minutes expire. Edge wins 4 falls to 3. Christian is irate and has a tantrum in the ring, knowing he had the title in his grasp, but let it slip away.

Finkel: Your winner, 4 falls to 3, and still WWL IC Champion, Edge!

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

The glass breaks and Stone Cold’s music hits as the rattlesnake stomps down the ramp and into the ring. Bret Hart’s music plays next and he comes out to a great response. Bret gets in Austin’s face, and Stone Cold punches him to the mat. Austin positions Bret in the corner and stomps a mudhole in him. Austin picks him up and Hart fights back with fists. He hits a headbutt on Austin and takes him down with a shoulder charge. Hart gets down and applies a crucifix on Stone Cold. Austin screams in pain until Bret finally releases him. Hart then puts Austin in an armbar submission. Bret runs off the ropes, and Austin catches him with a kick. Stone Cold body slams him and takes a moment to rest. Bret gets back to feet as Austin catches him in a Lou Thesz press. Austin talks trash to Bret, who is down on the mat. Stone Cold hits a knee drop and then stomps down on him. Austin lifts him up and Bret hits a kneelift on him. Bret Hart hits a Russian leg sweep on Austin and goes to the 2nd rope. He jumps off, landing the elbow drop. He scoops Austin up and sends him off the ropes, connecting with a forearm smash. Bret grabs Austin’s legs and hits an elbow drop on his leg. The match is fairly even for about 20 minutes. Both men get some near falls that really get the crowd into the match. Hart puts Austin in the sharpshooter, but they are too close to the ropes. Austin grabs onto the rope and flips Hart over. Austin gets a handful of Bret’s tights and rolls him up into a pinning combination. Austin has his feet on the ropes, but the ref doesn’t see it and administers the 3 count.

Finkel: Here is your winner, Stone Cold Steve Austin!

WWL World Heavyweight Championship: The Rock(c) Vs Vampiro

‘Black nr 1’ hits and the fans cheer for the main event match. Vampiro walks out slowly, soaking in the atmosphere for this huge match. The Rock’s music is next as the people’s champion heads out, talking trash as he walks quickly down the ramp. He gets in the ring and jumps to the 2nd rope, lifting the belt in the air. The Rock steps down and approaches the challenger, Vampiro. Vampiro kicks The Rock in the stomach and hits some chops to the chest. He places The Rock against the ropes and assaults him with kicks. The Rock now down in a seated position, and Vampiro runs from the opposite end of the ring, connecting with a knee to the face. He helps Rock up, then DDTs him back down.

Brain: Vampiro came to play, JR!

Vamp tries to lock on the crossface chickenwing, but The Rock swerves out of the way. Rock turns and lands successive punches, ending with the smackdown punch. The Rock stomps on Vampiro then drops a knee to his chest. Rock sets up the sharpshooter, but Vampiro kicks him away. Rock scoops him up and hits a shoulderbreaker.

JR: I haven’t seen him use that move in years!

Brain: You have to pull out all the stops when the WWL title is at stake.

Rock covers, but Vampiro kicks out. Vampiro gets back on the offensive and schoolboys The Rock for a 2 count. Vampiro applies an abdominal stretch on The Rock. He then whips him into the turnbuckle. Vampiro approaches The Rock, but Rock reverses places with him and mounts the turnbuckle. Rock lands 10 punches to the skull of Vampiro then gets down. Vampiro struggles to stay on his feet, and The Rock drops him with one more punch. Rock signals for the people’s elbow. He runs off the ropes, but when he gets down, Vampiro rolls out of the way and Rock hits the mat. Vamp lifts Rock up and hits a reverse DDT. He sets him up for the Final Nail in the Coffin, but The Rock pushes him away. Rock kicks him in the stomach and catches Vampiro in a Rock Bottom. Rock makes the cover, but Vampiro somehow gets a shoulder up at 2 and a half. A frustrated Rock tries to keep the challenger down when the WWL Prez comes walking down the ramp. The Prez picks up the timekeeper’s bell and holds onto it outside the ring.

JR: What is he up to? He better not be planning on ringing the bell and ending the match like he did to Bret Hart last month at Armageddon.

Brain: He can do whatever he wants, he’s the Prez.

The Rock notices the Prez and heads outside the ring. He gets in the Prez’s face, and the Prez clocks him with the bell. Noticing this, Vampiro goes to the outside. Vampiro looks down at The Rock, then up at the Prez.

JR: No, don’t tell me Vampiro has sided with the Prez. It can’t be!

The Prez then nails Vampiro with the bell as well.

Brain: Ha! Nobody sided with the Prez after all! He fooled them both into doubting each other’s loyalty! What a genius.

JR: More like an evil genius.

Brain: That’s still a genius.

The Prez rolls both men in the ring before the 10 count and picks up a mic to speak as Rock and Vampiro are knocked out.

PREZ: You fools! How could anyone think that I would ever team up with one of you losers? Remember last Monday, when someone attacked The Rock? Rock, you suspected Vampiro of doing it with my help. Vampiro, you suspected that The Rock and I were in on it together just so you wouldn’t get your title match. Well, you were both wrong. I played you guys for fools with the help of this man……….TRIPLE H!

The WWLTron shows Triple H attacking The Rock from behind and then walking off with the Prez. After all this, both wrestlers slowly get to their feet. Vampiro is up first and starts walking over to the Prez with hatred. Rock is up next and hits a bulldog from behind. He runs off the ropes and hits the people’s elbow for the 3 count.

Finkel: Here is your winner, and still WWL Champion, The Rock!

JR: Rock retains the title tonight and Triple H is gonna have hell to pay this Thursday!
