coalfields this is our hertiage.
Hi my name is Bonita
. And i'm not a coalminers daughter
my father was a carptener and one of
the finest in this state. But my daughter is a
coal miners daughter.
I have three sons the oldest is 28,
His name is Larry. My second borned is Billy he is 25.
And my third but not the least is Stephen,
he is 21.Their pictures are on my No More Fingerprints
page.
I have one daughter that thinks she is 36
but in real life shes only 17.
So Welcome to my hometown. Now don't
wink or you just missed it
do you know what the best thing to living
in a small town is. It's if you forget what
your doing just asked anyone in town and
they will be able to tell you.
The county that I live in is coal mining
country. We have the coal festival ever year.
Its great family entertainment. And it is
growing ever year. If you are ever in Boone
County W.Va. in the middle of June Please
drop-in and check out the festival.
The Festival of 2000 was helded the week of June 12 thru 17th
The Orginial Drifters did perform on Friday evening. Featuring Bill Pinkney
Also performing durning the 2000 festival was the
Vogues performing Saturday at 9:00 pm, and Exile
performed Thursday evening all extraordinarily
talented entertainers.
The WV Coal Festival has something for everone to enjoy.

Float on inner tubes on the Lazy River,
slide down the double flume water
slides or splash down the Rapid
River Ride at this water park.
The children's pool features a life-sized
elephant slide and gorilla swings.
