Christ prophesied that when the true Gospel has been preached in all the world, as a witness to all nations, then the end of this age will come and He will return to establish the Kingdom of God on this Earth (Matt. 24:14). That prophesy is now being fulfilled.
ELIJAH’S IDENTITY FINALLY REVEALED!
For many years, members of the Churches of God have wondered if the Elijah whom Yeshua the Christ and the prophet Malachi prophesied was to come and restore all things before “the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord” has already come, or is yet to come. (Matt. 17:11 & Mal. 4:5)
Well, let us consider the logic of it all. Christ said that the Elijah to come would restore ALL things. Something can only be restored if it has been lost. We know that Herbert W. Armstrong restored many vital truths that were lost by the Church of God over the ages. Yet, there are many who still doubt that he was the Elijah prophesied to come prior to the return of Christ.
Take just a moment if you will, and allow reason and common sense to prevail. Regardless of your feelings about Herbert Armstrong, it is undeniable that God used him, in spite of his weaknesses, to restore many important truths that had been lost through the centuries prior to his ministry. Since many truths were in fact restored through Herbert Armstrong, then clearly, the prophesied Elijah had not come prior to Herbert Armstrong, or there would have been no truths left for Mr. Armstrong to restore.
If Mr. Armstrong was not the prophesied Elijah, then who could it possibly be? It is utterly impossible for there yet to be someone to come to fit the description of the prophesied Elijah, for his job is to restore ALL things! The most that any future person can possibly do, would be to restore SOME things. If the prophesied Elijah has not yet come, then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has yet been restored to the Church! By logical deduction therefore, Herbert W. Armstrong had to have been the Elijah whom Christ and Malachi prophesied would come before the end of this age.
Satan was cast down to the earth and is referred to as the “god of this world” and “the prince of the power of the air,” the unseen enemy of God and Man, the ultimate cause of all the evil and wretchedness on this earth. (2 Corin. 4:4 & Eph 2:2). The question we ask our readers is this: Do you think Satan’s evil influence is restricted to within the atmosphere of this earth or is he allowed to extend his evil influence beyond the atmosphere of this earth, into outer space as well?

Now, let us explain that a "Church", according to Collins Contemporary Dictionary, is "a collective body of Christians." A Church meets in a building to worship God according to their convictions, the beliefs of their specific denomination. Once converted, the ONLY way an individual can "LEAVE his or her Church", would be to cease from adherence to the beliefs of that particular Church or denomination; to cease following the teachings of that particular body of believers. The only way anyone can leave God's Church, is to cease from endeavouring to obey God and foolishly return to a life of sin!
The world is filled with various religious denominations.
In the so called "Christian" religion alone, there exists over 400 different denominations, each preaching different interpretations of the same scriptures. How can all differ and yet all be correct? Either all are wrong or there is only one (teaching, not Corporation) that is right! Christ said that He would build His Church and the gates of hell (the grave), would not prevail against it ... it would not die, but would remain until His return to this earth. Where then, is that one true Church that Christ built, today? One thing is certain, it would be a Church (body of believers), PEOPLE, (regardless of where they are on this earth, the building in which they meet, or the name by which they are legally registered), it would be PEOPLE, who are endeavouring to obey the commandments of God, have accepted the sacrifice of Christ for sins, and are teaching the true Gospel of the Kingdom of God, the very same Gospel that Christ taught. The purpose of this web site is to assist in publishing the one True Gospel message to the world, as a witness to all nations, to make disciples from every nation, teaching them to observe everything that Christ taught His disciples to observe, (not in an effort to convert everyone, but merely as a witness to them, for Christ said that no man can come to Him except the Father draws him). It is not a message merely about the person of Christ, but the very message He brought to mankind. It may astound you! It may be quite unlike anything that you have heard before! But it is taken directly from the pages of the Holy Bible, the written Word of God.
God sent his son, Christ, into the world to teach mankind and to pay the sacrifice for their sins so man could have eternal life.
Christ told his disciples that specific events would have to occur before His return to establish the Kingdom of God on this earth.
He said that nation would rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, there would be famine, disease epidemics and earthquakes in different places. False prophets would also arise and lead people astray from the truth. Many would come in His name teaching that He was indeed the Christ, but would go on to deceive them in other things, preaching a false gospel. Christ stated however, that before He returned to establish the kingdom of God on earth, that the true Gospel, or good news, would first be published in all the world as a witness to all nations.
Mankind does not want God to rule over them. The reason mankind does not want God to rule over them is because Satan has deceived man into thinking that God's way will be miserable for them. Mankind needs to understand that God's way will actually be GREAT for everyone! It will produce everything they really want: Peace, happiness, good health and abundance! God's true witnesses will teach man that.

The question has often been asked, "Who was Job's Father?" And the answer has always been the same,"It is not known."
However, there is one other place where the name "Job" is mentioned in the Bible. It is recorded that Job was the son of Issachar, whose mother was Leah, the wife of Jacob and whose brothers were Tola, Phuvah and Shimron. (Gen 30:18 and Gen 46:13). That Job, was one of the sixty-six children of Israel who came with their father into Egypt to escape the famine in Canaan. Was he the same Job, whom God considered to be "a perfect and an upright man?" Perhaps. There is no other reference to a man named Job in the Bible, than that of Jacob's grandson, Job.
Most Christians are well aware of the book of James in the New Testament, however, it may be of interest to learn that no one by the name of "James" actually wrote that epistle! To learn the truth about the real author of the book of James, just click here.

"If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
It is true that the Greek word pronounced, "mis-EH-o", translated as "hate" can also mean "by extension to love less by comparison," nevertheless, we all know that generally speaking, "hate", is the total opposite of "love."
Examining the scripture from the perspective of an English teacher of some 22 years, let us take a closer look at the sentence.
The grammatical object of the entire sentence is the word "life". A better translation of the scripture would therefore be: "If any man come to me and hate not the life of his father, and that of his mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
It is the way of life that is contrary to God's Way that we must come to hate if we are to be true disciples of Christ, whether it be the life of close relatives or even aspects of our own lives that may not be in harmony with the Will of God.
WHEN CHRIST WILL RETURN!
Friends, many have tried to predict the date of the return of Christ. Many of those predictions have already failed, their dates have come and gone and Christ has not returned.
We will now give you a good idea when Christ will return! The reason we believe our idea is sound is because the Bible tells us the events which will immediately precede Christ's return.
In the book of Daniel, the Angel Gabriel told Daniel the sequence of events that would precede the return of Christ. Read for yourself Daniel 9:25-27 and Daniel 12:10-12. "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary (that prophesy has already been fulfilled); and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (The following prophesy is yet to come) And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." (Daniel 9:25-27)
"Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days." (Daniel 12:10-12).
Therefore, it appears that a seven year covenant will be made with the Jews allowing them to once again offer animal sacrifices on a specially constructed altar. Then, after three and a half years the covenant will be broken, the abomination of desolation will be set up and three and a half years of Great Tribulation will begin. At the end of the Great Tribulation, Christ will return and along with His saints, then made immortal, will establish the Kingdom of God on Earth.
Several months ago, the Jews began constructing their altar. Google it and see. As soon as they commence a seven year covenant to offer animal sacrifices on their altar, we will be encouraged to believe that Christ will return, possibly on the Feast of Trumpets, exactly seven years and 45 days later. Taking into account the 45 extra days for which the Angel said those who wait will be blessed, the return of Christ is therefore not likely to occur before the Feast of Trumpets, October 3rd, 2024. In the meantime, keep being diligent and faithful servants of Christ, watch, and let no man deceive you nor take your crown!

Should a person really have to hate their parents and other family members to be a true disciple of Christ? Christ appears to say so in the Gospel of Luke 14:26.
In Ezekiel 29:10-15, God told the prophet Ezekiel to prophesy against the land of Egypt and say: “Behold, therefore I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even to the border of Ethiopia. No foot of man shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years. And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries. Yet, thus says the Lord God; at the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered. And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom. It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself anymore above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.”
Now, this may call for some rethinking on the part of the Churches of God. Since Egypt is not yet the basest of the Kingdoms of the world, that prophesy is yet to be fulfilled. Egypt will become desolate for forty years. The question is, when will this horrendous prophesy be fulfilled? If it is fulfilled before the return of Christ, then either (1) its forty year desolation will begin and end before the millennium begins or (2) it will begin sometime before the millennium begins and continue on into the millennium, or (3) it will begin after the millennium has commenced. However, in a prophesy by Zechariah regarding the beginning of the millennial reign of Christ on earth, he said: “It shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem, shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16-19).
So then, Zechariah appears to have prophesied that Egypt will still be inhabited at the start of the millennium. If it will still be inhabited at the start of the millennium, there can be only one of two options. Either, the forty year desolation of Egypt will commence and end before the return of Christ and the start of the millennium or, it will commence after the return of Christ, as stated by the prophet Zechariah earlier.
Frankly, we all hope that it won’t commence until after the return of Christ! Otherwise, the earliest time for His return would be at the very least some 40 years from now. Perhaps Egypt will rebel and refuse to keep the feast of tabernacles and will continue to rebel even after God withholds rain from them the first year and sends a plague on them the second year. Perhaps the third year of rebellion will bring about their desolation for forty years, during which time God says he will “scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them through the countries.” It is quite likely that after living for forty years among people who are obeying God, and witnessing the blessings which God will send for obedience, they may be brought to repentance and finally submit to the rule of Almighty God.

Have you ever wondered where Christ was and what He was doing for approximately 11 hours between His resurrection and when the disciples found His empty tomb at dawn on Sunday morning? Well, new evidence suggests He may have been with the Father in Heaven. Scripture records that Christ appeared to Mary Magadlene first, at which time He told her not to touch Him as He had not yet ascended to the Father in Heaven. Yet scripture also says that Mary Magdalene and another Mary were allowed to hold him by his feet and worship Him. Did Mary make her first visit to the tomb on Saturday night? More on the subject will be posted here later, however, in the meantime,consider the fact that John 20:1 should actually be translated to read: "The first day of the week came Mary Magdalene early AFTER THAT IT WAS DARK, to the sepulchre and saw that the stone was taken away from the sepulchre." Biblically, each new day begins at sunset. Mary Magdalene may in fact have first come to the sepulchre after dark on Saturday evening following Christ's resurrection. That's something for you to check up on for yourself.

For many years sincere Christians worldwide have held the belief that Christ did not have long hair. The reason for that was the biblical statement found in 1 Cor. 11:14 "Does not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame to him?"
Well, new research has discovered that Christ may actually have worn his hair a lot longer than we may have thought!
Our modern idea of 'short hair' and that of Our
Lord's days are vastly different. Back then hair to the collar or shoulder
was not considered 'long', but in fact short; a man's hair was only considered 'long'
when it passed the centre of his back down to his buttocks. On this
information, Christ did not have long hair at all... In fact our modern
haircuts of shaved heads and near shaved heads would have been considered
a shame in those days by the Christians, as only the pagan religions had
shaved heads in their priesthoods (eg: Ancient Egypt and Babylon).
Absalom, the son of David the King of Israel, used to poll/cut his hair only once per year, and only then because it was heavy on him because he had very thick hair. The average man therefore, would have cut his hair even less often than Absalom. (II Samuel 14:25-26).
The Biblical book of Genesis Ch. 6 verse 4 records: "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown." The skeletons of many giants have been discovered over the years, ranging in size from 8.5 feet to 36 feet tall!
The people who work at NASA must certainly be complimented for the amazing work they have done and are doing in space research. Man is destined to rule the universe.
Due to the amazing technological strides made over the past few decades, it is not at all far-fetched to believe that one day Man will build habitable bases on the Moon, from which they will ultimately seek to reach out to Mars and other neighboring planets.
