Jason Taylor Tribute Page
Jason Taylor born September 1, 1974 was Home-Schooled in High School. It was pretty amazing that Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh even let him play on the team.Talent must come into play!
After having earned All-Western PA awards he went to The University of Akron, where he was a 3 year starter, and four year letterman. He earned National Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Virginia Tech when he posted 12 tackles, two sacks, two fumble recoveries, three stops for loss and tackled a punt returner in the end zone for a safety!
Drafted in the 3rd round of the 1997 draft he has gone on to a Pro-Bowl caliber career in the NFL. Jason had a career high 14.5 sacks in 2000. 5th best in the NFL.
The reason I appreciate what Jason Taylor has acomplished is the fact that my wife and I home-school our 4 children! :) Keep it going! Jason!
