After Cain slew his brother Abel, YEHOVAH God set a "mark" on him, and sent him to the land of wandering. Cain began a society in opposition to the laws of YEHOVAH God, a world system which continues to our day, today. Just what is the "way of Cain"? You need to understand the answer -- and act on the truth! Hope of Israel Ministries (Ecclesia of YEHOVAH) A MUST READ!
A number of churches (including the Jehovah Witnesses) claim that Yeshua the Messiah was nailed to a simple upright post or "stake." In so-called "passion plays" you often see a complete cross (upright AND crossbeam) being dragged to "Golgotha" by the one playing the role of the Messiah. Some sources claim Yeshua carried just the CROSSBEAM to the place of execution which, along with himself, was hoisted up and attached to an existing stake. However, in reality, the Messiah was nailed to something FAR DIFFERENT to what most people have been led to believe! This article examines all the crosses used by the Romans for executing criminals, and PINPOINTS the exact type that the Messiah died upon. Be prepared for surprises!

Most Christians have it firmly implanted in their minds that there were three
crosses at Calvary -- the center one holding the crucified Messiah while the crosses on either side contained the two thieves. It may come as a surprise to realize that the Bible nowhere states that the Messiah was crucified on a Roman cross! In fact, the Bible clearly reveals that the Messiah and the two thieves were crucified together on a living, growing tree -- fulfilling detailed prophecy and symbolism found in the Old Testament.!

YAHSHUA DID NOT DIE ON THE "CROSS/TREE"!!
Mattithyah [Matthew] 27:34
They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with Gall: and when he had tasted [thereof], he would not drink.
... GALL: H7219, ro'sh (roshe) or rowsh{roshe}; apparently the same as 'ro'sh' (H7218); a poisonous plant, probably the poppy (from its conspicuous head); generally any poison (even of serpents):--gall, hemlock, poison, venom.
Here we have a weakened (beaten) Messiah Yahshua, who had just tasted poison, and whether or not that poison was diluted hemlock, opium or maybe another poison; It was surely wise on Messiah's part not to gulp it down. Even so, a strong potential now exists for Messiah having been chemically rendered unconscious and without the ability to feel pain. You don't have to believe me; check out "Hemlock" or "Opium" for yourself. Interestingly, a research study of hemlock, a bitter tasting deadly poison that produces paralysis then death if enough is ingested, takes 72 hours to wear off. That's 72 hours or THREE Days and THREE Nights if a person only tastes it.
Constantine, kahn stan tine, I, The Great (272-337) was a Roman emperor whose full name was Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantius. He was son of one of the emperors of the West Roman Empire. Young Constantine was an able soldier and administrator, and when his father died in 306, he was proclaimed emperor by his own and his father's troops.
But Constantine had a number of rivals. He defeated his strongest rival, Maxentius, at the famous battle of Milvian Bridge in 312. According to legend, he saw a vision of the Christian cross before the battle. Written on the cross was, "By this sign thou shalt conquer." The cross became Constantine's battle symbol, and the Christians began to receive favored treatment among religions in the empire. Constantine himself was not baptized until shortly before he died.
As the Christian church grew in power and numbers, disputes arose. One of the most serious disputes was over the question of the Trinity. This dispute threatened to split the church. Constantine called a council of churchmen at Nicaea in Asia Minor in 325. The Nicene Creed came out of this council (see Nicene Councils).

The Legend of the Donkey's Cross
"Bring me the colt of a donkey."
was the masters request.
A young donkey was brought to Jesus to carry Him to Jerusalem.
A week later Jesus was ordered to be Crucified.
The little donkey so loved the Lord that he wanted to help Him carry the cross.
But alas, he was pushed away.
The sad little donkey waited to say goodbye until nearly all had left.
As he turned to leave, the shadow of The Cross fell upon his back and shoulders.
And there it has remained, a tribute to the loyalty and love love of the humblest of God's creatures.
The book The Non-Christian Cross (pp. 23, 24), by John Denham Parsons, states: "There is not a single sentence in any of the numerous writings forming the New Testament, which, in original Greek, bears even indirect evidence to the effect that the stauros used in the case of Jesus was other than an ordinary stauros; much less to the effect that it consisted, not of one piece of timber, but of two pieces nailed together in the form of a cross." "... it is not a little misleading upon the part of our teachers to translate the word stauros as 'cross' when rendering the Greek documents of the Church into our native tongue, and to support that action by putting 'cross' in our lexicons as the meaning of stauros without carefully explaining that that was at any rate not the primary meaning of the word in the days of the Apostles, did not become its primary signification till long afterwards, and became so then, if at all, only because, despite the absence of the corroborative evidence, it was for some reason or other assumed that the particular stauros upon which Jesus was executed had that particular shape."

An inverted cross is the cross of St. Peter, who, according to tradition, was crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to die the same way as Christ. As Catholics believe the pope to be a successor of St. Peter, the inverted cross is frequently used in connection with the papacy, such as on the papal throne and in papal tombs [photo]. It also symbolizes humility because of the story of Peter. The inverted cross has more recently been appropriated by Satanists as a symbol meant to oppose or invert Christianity.
"It is believed that three different kinds of crosses were used for Roman executions - the crux commissa which had the form of a T, the crux decussata whose shape was X and the crux immissa or capitata which is generally believed to be the type of cross on which Jesus died." Lutterworth Dictionary of the Bible By Watson E. Mills (p. 185).

The cross was widely known in pre-Christian times. Indeed, it was a well known heathen sign. The Egyptian god of light, Horus had the cross on his vestments. Rassam found buildings at Nineveh marked with the Maltese cross. Osiris as well as Jupiter Ammon, had for a monogram a cross. The cross is found on the Phoenician monuments at an early date.
The Cadeceus, used as a symbol of the medical profession, was an outgrowth of the Tau cross. The Tau cross was inscribed on the forhead of every person admitted into the mysteries of Mithras. From 1400 BCE and to 400 AD, the Persians, the Romans, and the Greeks worshipped the god Mithras.
We can see a parallel with the Scripture in Revelation 13:16, "And he caused all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to recieve a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads: (verse 17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." This Beast system is soon to come aliveor the deadly wound is being healed.
The historians wrote many facts about the cross and its beginning. We, as righteous watchman of Yahweh should be able to see what will be part of the "Mark of the Beast". Yahweh has revealed this revelation to but a small group of believers.
