I sit amidst the ruins; Welcome to the Brave New World
A silence fills the air, and I can sense my freedom now
If I've condemned my soul, then only I can take the blame
If I've betrayed my heart, then only I should fall
For I    I was the One    who was called upon
I'll shed no more tears, for my love, for my life

And once again the light returns but i am free within the temple here
I am not afraid, this time I won't hide
I have no need of "gods" and all that they demand of me
There is but one true faith, and this I've always known
And I    I'm still alive    I can feel it now
It calls to my senses, to my heart, and takes me home
My spirit won't break

I'v slipped through my chains
Inside love remains
And shelters me.
