This site was developed by Clyde E. Pearce, MEd,RHS, a radiological Health specialist in Alaska who has been employed in radiation related work since 1961. It began as a resource for him to access from anywhere in the state to look up regulations, print a warning sign, or perform other tasks without carrying lots of extra baggage in carry-on luggage. Radiation workers who have used it suggested other information for inclusion such as jobs, radiation monitoring badges, a policy for handling pregnancy concerns among radiation workers, and guidelines for indoor tanning.
