Since you've shared your opinion with the world I thought it only
right to share mine with you. I have read articles for the Twisty Kats
and I have read stuff against them. I have 2 cats of my own, one has
seven toes, the other is normal. Sam the one with the extra toes lives
a healthy normal life and has a few advantages over the other. Sam uses
his oddly shapped paw to pick things up, he'll also dip his food in his
water and fish it out before he eats it.
As for the Twisty Kats themselves I look at them as Ido humans, You
have Humans born with deformities, such as missing limbs, deformed
limbs, dwarfism, etc. None of these are painful for those effected, and
each one of these live and become a productive member of society.
These cats may not be able to jump, but as they are house pets,
there is no real reason for them to have that survival skill. Cats are
like most other animals in that if one of their young is deformed to
where they can't survive, or if they are sickly, the mother will not
take care of it.These cats were taken care of by their mother, and with
the first twisty cat they were thinking of putting her down, but decided
to wait and see what happened.
What you are trying to do is comparable to what Hitler did. He had
gays and those that were deformed executed right along with the Jews b/c
they were not of his superior race. Things like that had to start
somewhere, let's not teach peopel to hate those that are diffrent
through cats.
