Robert L. Huff enlisted in the Army in December of 1942. He entered basic training in December, and remained there for 13 weeks.
After completing all of his training, Mr. Huff left on the S.S. America for a 7 day journey to Caseblanca. He was a member of the 91st RICON replacements. After fighting in the Invasion of Sicily, and Solerno, as well as many other campaigns, he was honorably discharged after the war.
He soon entered the Air Force, where he remained for 27 1/2 years before retiring. He married Alice Elizabeth McGraw in 1953.
