How do I run
Diablo II as v1.06 and v1.08 at once? The only thing you will need for this are approximately 760 free megs of disk space, since most people today run systems with 40-90gigs that’s no big deal. 1.
uninstall
Diablo II 2.
reinstall
Diablo II 3.
upgrade to
v1.06 4.
copy all your
Diablo II folder to some where else on your computer 5.
rename the copy
of the folder to lets say XyRAX or whatever you like 6.
go into your
original Diablo II folder and launch the game 7.
log onto b.net
and get the current patch 8.
now you have
one folder with v1.06 and another one with v1.08 or the current version of
Diablo II 9.
create a
shortcut to your original Diablo2.exe and put it on your desktop 10.
create a
shortcut to your copied Diablo2.exe which is in the new folder and call it
lets say XyRAX or whatever 11.
now you can
choose if you want normal Diablo II run the Diablo2 shortcut if you want the
mod or lesser version launch the new shortcut. |
