What are they?, and why are we attracted to and take delight in stories about ghosts but at the same time we are frightened and repulsed by them. Are they part of the human family? or a figament of our collective imagination, could they possibly be evil and demonic?

Come along with us in our exploration of this unexplained phenomena, but for those of you who are weak of heart ! be forewarned, we will not leave any (grave) stone unturned.

Often hauntings are found in places that have had an conglomeration of what I call energized emotions , whether it be murder, anger, strife or great sadness and mourning, all these actions and emotions leave an imprinteur upon the human landscape, it is usually in an historical human drama that result in the hauntings of today.

It is this reason that Philadelphia could be the most haunted city in the United States,the city where Ben Franklin lived, Thomas Jefferson wrote and where George Washington fought for freedom and independence. Let us begin where the United States began.
