May: Willem Dafoe
Willem Dafoe is easily one of the most talented actors in Hollywood or
out of it for that matter. Dafoe is delightful on screen
and on stage.
He began his acting career performing with various avant garde theater
companies and graduated to film as a glorified extra in the notorious flop
Heaven's Gate. Since then he has played sickos, psychos, drug
addicts, and Jesus Christ for Marty Scorsese. Quite a pedigree. Dafoe most
recently won raves as thumbless spy/pick-pocket David Caravaggio in The
English Patient, one of my personal favorite movies.
