Basic Phrases in Different Languages
When you travel in a foreign country, part of the fun is trying to become part of the culture you are in. The biggest way you can achieve this is by speaking the native language. (You don't have to be fluent; basic phrases are good.) Plus, people appreciate tourists who attempt to speak their language.
I've put together a list of basic foreign phrases that I think are important when traveling. The phrases are in italics and pronunciations are in parenthesis. Have fun!
