The "Bible Code" is a way of looking for hidden prophecies and passages in the Bible, by using a software program to search for messages in the Old Testament Hebrew text. The spaces between words are eliminated, so that the Old Testament is a continuous block of Hebrew letters. Then, by skipping letters at a programmed interval, the program searches for words. There appear to be patterns to the passages where the words are found. And on this site I show that the Bible Code also works in English in the King James Bible.
This page on the King James Bible Code discusses research I did on an English Bible code in the King James version Bible. For this page I searched for Bible Code matrices on Pope John Paul II, and Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI, the Catholic Church leaders. Pope John Paul II has been one of the great leaders of the twentieth century, who along with President Reagan helped free Eastern Europe from Communism, and helped bring about the end of the tyranny of Communism in the Soviet Union. John Paul II was certainly one of the greatest Popes in history, a great champion of Freedom. And Pope Benedict XVI is a great scholar and a wise choice for the new Pontiff. The Catholic Church has been shaken by recent scandals in the U.S., and I think a man of wisdom that Pope Benedict XVI is, will help bring stability to the church and help set it on the right course.

By using Bible code software I searched for some words in the King James New Testament and Old Testament (separately). I found that there is evidence of English Bible code patterns that the software found by skipping varying intervals, in the King James Old Testament or New Testament, made into a block of solid text. Its important to look not only at the search words found in the matrix, but also other words in the matrix, and the Bible passages, to undertand the meaning of the matrix.
Pope John Paul II
First, I searched for Bible Code matrices about Pope John Paul II in the New Testament. This next matrix was found at John 6:71 - Romans 16:7. Row Splitting was set to Disabled, one of the options with Codefinder software. It contains these search words:
-- JOHN PAUL (ELS skip = -13662)

And also the matrix contains these relevant words and phrases:
-- JESUS ANSWERED HIM
-- MINISTRY AND APOSTLES
-- THE LORD SAID UNTO HIM
-- ROMAN

-- CHRIST DOWN FROM ABOVE
Next, I searched for an Old Testament matrix. This next matrix was found at Numbers 11:25 - Job 27:5, and it contains these search words for John Paul II, I used search words JOHN PAUL and SECOND:

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI
On April 19, 2005, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger from Germany was elected as the new Pope, Pope Benedict the Sixteenth. Although very conservative on church doctrine, I think he is an excellent choice for the church, where he is a theological scholar and knows several languages.
Below are King James Bible Code matrices for Pope Benedict XVI. First, a New Testament matrix at Matthew 2:7 - Mark 5:40, that includes search words: BENEDICT (ELS=-15782), POPE, and also in this matrix are these relevant words and phrases: JESUS, JOSEPH, and it includes the passage: Matthew 5:9 "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God." This indicates that this Pope will be a peacemaker.
The next matrix at Acts 10:17 - Revelation 20:10 includes: BENEDICT (ELS=51583), POPE, and also in this matrix are these relevant words and phrases: THE WORD OF GOD, PATIENCE OF JESUS CHRIST, PRIESTHOOD. Also, at the top of this matrix, it begins at "SIMON'S HOUSE", which was Peter's house-- Peter (formerly called Simon) having begun the Church, so Peter's house is the Vatican. So that is a very interesting phrase to find at the beginning of this matrix.
The next New Testament matrix is at Luke 8:54 - 2 Corinthians 7:11, and it contains search words:
-- BENEDICT (ELS=39601)
-- POPE
-- XVI
And other relevant words and phrases in this matrix:
-- DOVE (a symbol of Christ)
-- LORD JESUS TO TESTIFY THE GOSPEL
-- CHRIST JESUS WHO OF GOD IS MADE UNTO US
-- BUT WITH THE SPIRIT
-- THE ELECTION (elected as Pope by the Cardinals)
-- KEEP THEM FROM THE EVIL (At the intersection of Benedict and XVI, this is John 17:15, about Christ praying for his disciples. I think this passage applies to Pope Benedict VI, since as a young man in Germany he was surrounded by the evil of Naziism, being drafted into the army at 16, and survived the war to become a priest. A good man who wanted to be a priest in a world gone mad, who survived war and the evils of Naziism in Germany. In Pope Benedict XVI we have a man of the Church who has seen and hated the evils of war and Fascism as a young man in Germany, and that is a perspective that most of us do not have, that will help this Pope understand the world today, and help make it a better place as leader of the Church. Pope John Paul II wished this man to be his successor for good reason - the wisdom that Pope Bendedict XVI can bring to the Church as leader of the Church. John 17:14-23:
"14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me."
The next matrix is Old Testament at 2 Kings 10:15 - Esther 5:8, and the search words were: BENEDICT (ELS=-48927), SIXTEEN:
And the next Old Testament matrix is at Ezekiel 32:12 - 40:36, and it contains:

And also in this matrix are these relevant words and phrases:

March 13 2013. A new Pope, Pope Francis from Argentina, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who is 76. In the New Testament I found this matrix, at 2 Peter 2:1 to Revelation 9:11, with search words: FRANCIS, POPE.
Also in this matrix:
- "Christ is born" in 1 John 5:1 "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:"
- "and hast patience" in Revelation 2:3 "And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured and hast not fainted.
