- VADER-*Litany*-(Metal Blade)-The new one from death/speed metallers VADER does not disappoint. Simply put, it is the best death metal CD i heard in 2000. Songs like 'Wings', 'Cold Demons', 'The One Made of Dreams', and the title track re death/speed metal masterpieces, even bringing to mind the greatest speed metal album of all time, *Reign in Blood* by SLAYER. Amazing songs and technical ability make *Litany* an essential necessity to all collections of heavy music. Metal Blade Records, 2828 Cochran St. PMB 302, Simi Valley, CA 93065-2793

- the WALTER EUGENES-*Something Sick Inside my Head* (M8 Distribution)-Radio friendly college rock. At times , the singer reminds me of U2's singer and at other times of INXS's singer. A couple times he even reminded me of Jon Bon Jovi. The music is generic college modern rock. Nothing or interesting in my opinion. M8 Distribution, www.m8.com, 888-800-2348-Chris Lee

- RICHARD WOOD-*Metaphysics in a World Without God*-Heartfelt midwestern acoustic singer/songwriter songs. RICHARD WOOD sings pours it out with passion. PAUL WESTERBERG and the acoustic heavy 70s PINK FLOYD both come to mind while listening to this disc. These are songs that the masses would enjoy in a big way. Very catchy but not over the generic poppy. You want to spend a day just laying it around in the sun and enjoying your surroundings then the RICHARD WOOD CD is your soundtrack. Major labels keep an ear out for this guy. Those interested in picking up a copy of the CD can contact Richard via email at one4all71@hotmail.com-Chris Lee
