• 1. YOUR MUSICAL PATH DID NOT START WITH THE GUITAR. CARE TO ENLIGHTEN THOSE READING ABOUT YOUR PRE-GUITAR YEARS?
• I began playing piano at the age of 7 and the violin at 9 years old. I won a Scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music at age 15. As a Juilliard graduate violin virtuoso, I have won numerous competitions on the violin and composition at Juilliard and in the Classical Music Field. I was the Concertmaster of the Juilliard School Pre-College Orchestra. I won the Artists International and performed my SOLO violin debut at Carnegie Recital Hall and toured in the U.S., Mexico and England as a violin soloist.
• 2. WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO CHECK OUT PLAYING THE GUITAR?
• After graduating from The Juilliard School, I realized that Classical Music is DEAD. I decided to take Classical into the 21st Century with modern popular music. After hearing ALL forms of popular music, I realized that I HAVE TO METALLIZE Classical Music, by mixing it with SHRED/SPEED METAL!!!!!! I then picked up the electric guitar and began systematically transcribing all of my violin solos to the guitar, thereby INVENTING the NEW Music of the 21st Century, CYBERSPEED CLASSICAL/SHRED METAL and RESURRECTING CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM!!!
