Theme Song Lyrics:

She's a small wonder, pretty and bright with soft curls.
She's a small wonder, a girl unlike other girls.
She's a miracle, and I grant you
She'll enchant you with her sight
She's a small wonder, and she'll make your heart beat twice.
She's fantastic, made of plastic,
Microchips here and there.
She's a small wonder, brings love and laughter everywhere.

About The Show

Small Wonder was an 80s sci-fi/comedy tv show based on the Lawson family and their robot named V.I.C.I. (Voice Input Child Identicant). V.I.C.I. was the creation of the father, Ted Lawson, who was a cybernetic engineer. Vicki (as she was known on the show) was a robot designed to look like a ten-year-old girl. It was explained to neighbors that Ted and Joan Lawson were the godparents to Vicki and they took her in when her parents died. The couple also had a real child, a son named Jamie. The shows plots pretty much dealt with the children interacting with each other and the family trying to keep the truth about Vicki a secret. Vicki lived in a closet in Jamie's room, which was kind of hard to hide from Harriet Brindle, the young girl that lived next door and had a crush on Jamie, who was always peeking in. Harriet's father, Brandon, was Ted's boss who was always trying to steal Ted's ideas. Brandon's wife, Bonnie, was constanly snooping around the Lawsons' house. Jamie's best friend Reggie was also seen around the Lawson household.
