A top-notch member of SeeD who serves as Squall's instructor. A SeeD cadet at the age of 15, Quistis now instructs Squall and his friends at Balamb Garden. She used to have feelings for Squall in the past, and may have them still, to a degree. As a natural leader, she is the one that keeps this small group of heroes together. Different from her calm and bold exterior, is known to have trouble dealing with her frustration, which leads to her becoming upset over minor details.
