My Main Inspiration--> Yngwie Malmsteen
First Up On My Guitar Gods List...is...YNGWIE (pronounced ing-vay) MALMSTEEN . This Swedish-Born Guitar Virtuoso Was The Originator Of The High-Speed, Technically Precise, Neo-Classical Style That Developed During The 80s. Influenced By Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore And Eddie Van Halen, Malmsteen First Picked Up A Guitar At The Age Of Five And Had Formed His First Band, Powerhouse, By The Time He Entered His Teens.After That He Had Lots Of Ups And Downs In His Career..Including Breaking His Playing Hands In A Car Accident.But He Bounced Back..And Till Today..He Is Still Doing His Craft With Excellence As Many Younger Generations Discover His Music =) (Picture is the one above)
Eddie Van Halen
Van Halen's singular, futuristic vision gave birth to An Entire Metal Movement In The '80s. His Fusion Of Energy, Sophistication And Virtuosity Became His Trademark And His Technological Ideas Brought About Modifications To Amplifiers And Tremolo Systems On The Guitar, An Impact Still Resounding Today. His Violin-Like Tone And Two-Hand Tapping Technique Are Often The Most Noted Contributions Among Guitar Enthusiasts, But His Expressive Phrases And Guitar Arrangements Also Qualify As Landmark. Some Say That His Playing Killed Rock Music..And That It Made The 80s Rock Scene "Dead" Perhaps It Is True As Most Guitarist Started To Switch To His Style After His Band Became Famous ..So Nearly Every Guitarist Sounded The Same. But He Is Still A Genius In He's Own Intelligence (Picture is the one above)
