Mr. Blackwell smeared Florida Secretary of
State Katherine Harris today for her excessive makeup in his annual
list of fashion failures.
He also dressed-down pop stars Britney Spears, Mariah Carey,
Madonna and Christina Aguilera for their scant apparel.
The former fashion designer who writes a column for the Globe
supermarket tabloid released his complaints by fax.
He says of Harris: "The pretty, brassy lassie from Tallahassee
needs cosmetic direction."
He also praised some other women for their fabulous fashion choices, including country music star Faith Hill and actresses Juliette Binoche, Halle Berry and Gwyneth Paltrow.
