LONDON, UK -- Britney Spears seems to want to show her fans how she's steering away from the "girl" and making herself more a "woman." The singer currently appears on the September issue of British Elle Magazine, topless.

Mind you, she's got her arms covering her important parts, but you can still see her angel tattoo in the middle of her lower back.

The article inside continues the ever going saga with she and Justin Timberlake. Britney comments that their breakup was horrible, and "It was hard for me that he was so exploitative. Every interview that he did, he was talking about us in such an open way and I just felt, 'Is nothing sacred any more?'"
