Mary Donaldson, a former Australian real estate agent who will soon become a Danish princess, is among the world's top 100 sexiest women according to a list compiled by a regional magazine, the publisher said Friday.

Pop star Britney Spears topped the Australian and New Zealand edition of FHM magazine's annual list of sexy women, with Australian singer and actress Delta Goodrem at No. 2.

Donaldson, who is to marry Danish Crown Prince Frederick on May 14 at Copenhagen's Lutheran cathedral, appears on the list for the first time in 87th place.

Perennial favorite Kylie Minogue is No. 5 on the list, to be published in the magazine's May edition.

"As always, the list creates a great deal of controversy," FHM editor John Bastick said.

Australian and New Zealand readers vote for 99 places and the top spot is decided by a poll of readers in 22 countries. Last year's winner was Halle Berry.

Donaldson met the crown prince at a Sydney bar during the 2000 Olympics.

After the wedding, she will become Crown Princess Mary.

Call it coincidence or call it clever marketing, but there really is an Onyx Hotel and Britney Spears is endorsing it.

Spears' current tour is called The Onyx Hotel, and a hotel by that name is opening soon in Boston.

It says on its web site it is the official hotel of Spears' tour, and her site has a link to the hotel's site.

MTV News reports Britney will have a suite named after her at the hotel, and the decor will reflect her decorating preferences and contain Britney memorabilia.

Avril "Not So Lady-Like" Lavigne lashed out at the media for portraying her as an "angry girl" on MTV's Total Request Live. And she didn't stop with the media, she also took aim at pop princess Britney Spears.

"I have tons of moms come up to me like, 'Thank you for not dressing like Britney Spears.' and I'm just like, 'No problem,'" said Avril.

The ever-outspoken Avril doesn't mince words when it comes to increasingly risqué Britney.

"I just think sometimes she kind of over does it, you know, with the facial expressions [imitates Britney]. You know, like come on," stated Avril of Britney. "I think it's just like, 'Why don't you just dress like that for your boyfriend? Or take your clothes off for your boyfriend or your guy or whatever -- not for the world.'"

Donning a new blonde and black hairdo, the well-covered 19-year-old rocker sported a guitar rather than a mini-skirt on "The Today Show." Backed by a band rather than scantily-clad dancers, Avril grabbed attention for her new disc, "Under My Skin," the good ole' fashioned way -- by mingling with fans.

Avril proudly belted out tunes that she co-wrote on the sophomore album.

"I'm aware that people kind of doubted my songwriting," said Avril. "But when you hear this record it's so obvious it came from me. It's like you're stupid if you don't get it."

Is Britney Spears engaged? Well, it depends who you ask.

Despite reports that Brit's new beau, dancer Kevin Federline, popped the question and Spears accepted (according to the New York Post's Page Six), Access Hollywood has learned that the two are, in fact, not engaged but that they are "deeply involved."

Page Six quoted a Spears rep as saying, "She's pretty lucky to have him, but I don't know if she's engaged or not."

Federline – whose ex-girlfriend is reportedly eight months pregnant with the couple's second child – was recently seen accompanying Britney on a trip to the hospital where she underwent arthroscopic knee surgery. The two were also recently photographed spending time together on a Santa Monica, Calif., beach.

It would've been the second marriage for Brit, after her impromptu Las Vegas hitching to hometown friend Jason Alexander. As you may remember, their marital bliss lasted only a few days before they quickly got the marriage annulled.

Nevertheless, at least Spears and Federline will have an abundance of quality time together in the coming weeks, as Britney was forced to call off the rest of her Onyx Hotel Tour following her surgery earlier this week.

And now that the pop princess has some time on her hands, we hear she may be house hunting on the exclusive Governors Island in Lake Winnipesaukee, N.H.
