Special powers?
"No, I’m probably the only girl in FHM this month with no special powers; it’s a little disheartening. But she does have a huge laser gun, so I get to kill any aliens that are walking around. My gun is like the ones on Battlestar Galactica — I just click it and a whole house blows up. It is so much fun. So I can look like a badass even without special powers."

Why do men find sci-fi girls so sexy?
"The love of gadgets is in all men, and sci-fi is women and gadgets all in one. No wonder they’re obsessed with it. All the video games star women in these badass outfits with huge guns."

Best sci-fi moment?
"You just can’t imagine how amazing it is to be a superhero. The coolest thing is having a stunt double. I do a little running and stuff, but I also have to look good, so I have my platforms on and pretty much only shoot guns. My stunt double does the rest and she’s amazing. She looks just like me; all my friends think it is me. I don’t tell them otherwise."

Favorite sci-fi thing?
"That bit in Alien where they’re all sitting having a very quiet, normal, human conversation and one of them starts choking and this alien comes out of his stomach. That is absolutely my favorite moment; it is amazing to watch."

Do you believe in aliens?
"There is definitely something out there. I get incredibly spooked when I see one of those documentaries about people who’ve had alien contact; I think there’s got to be some truth in it. But I don’t want to say too much, because I don’t want to be the one they pick to abduct."
