She looks like anything but a geek in real life, but as nerdy girl Samantha McPherson on WB's Popular, Carly Pope's the leader of her geek crew, raging war against the reigning rich cheerleader, Brooke (Leslie Bibb). It's a classic battle between the cool and the uncool, and everyone wants Pope to win.

Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, the 19-year-old has made a career out of reliving her high school years, appearing in TV movies like Our Guys: Outrage at Glen Ridge (as a cheerleader) and on the big screen in Disturbing Behavior and in A Cooler Climate as Judy Davis' rich daughter .

You asked about her upcoming television film with Jonathan Jackson, and you dared to ask what really goes on behind the scenes. Pope answers all your questions--and doesn't hold back.

Except for maybe one little thing she didn't mention: We heard that boyfriend-less Pope actually has a crush on talk-show host Conan O'Brien. Hmmm...maybe there is a little geekiness in there, after all...

Absolutely and thankfully. Nobody deserves to be in an unpleasant work atmosphere.

Yes, only because I know that Friends is one of my favorite shows, and if I were by a television at 8 p.m., I would be in a quandary.

The show is filmed in Los Angeles, but no matter where the location, I would much rather be living back at home.

From puncture: Who inspired you while you were getting started in your career? And, have you ever met them or worked with them afterward?
No one specific--I really just admire anyone who takes pride in their talent.

From diva25: I love your character on Popular! I read that you played Abbey in the movie Disturbing Behavior, but I don't remember seeing you in it. Please refresh my memory, and tell me what scene you were in.
I was in a flashback scene that you can only catch on the DVD version. Blink and you'll miss it!

Walking, writing and relaxing.

I think that it airs in February or March. Jonathan is amazing--he's a very talented actor. I'm so glad that you have heard good things about it!

I am not actively seeking. If something interests me, then I would love to pursue it.

Hundreds--I think I would most like to be a grade-school teacher.
