January 20th, 1966, will be remembered by generations as the amazing date that Stacey Dash graced this world. Hailing from the
Bronx, New York, a young Stacey always knew she wanted to be an actress.
All her PR releases make note of her first acting job, as star of one of the most important stories ever told. Miss Dash, of course,
gave a critically acclaimed performance in the role of Bambi's mother in her third grade play. From that summit of success, it would
only be a short hop to TV roles on St. Elsewhere, The Cosby Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
You might think that all that fame would be enough for one person, but not for Stacey Dash! She made the gigantic leap to the
silver screen in 1988, as Richard Pryor's daughter in the modern-day comic masterpiece, Moving.
From there she took on a more challenging role in 1992's touching Mo' Money with Damon Wayans.
