Biography
January 20th, 1966, will be remembered by generations as the amazing date that Stacey Dash graced this world. Hailing from the Bronx, New York, a young Stacey always knew she wanted to be an actress.

All her PR releases make note of her first acting job, as star of one of the most important stories ever told. Miss Dash, of course, gave a critically acclaimed performance in the role of Bambi's mother in her third grade play. From that summit of success, it would only be a short hop to TV roles on St. Elsewhere, The Cosby Show, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

moving up

You might think that all that fame would be enough for one person, but not for Stacey Dash! She made the gigantic leap to the silver screen in 1988, as Richard Pryor's daughter in the modern-day comic masterpiece, Moving.

From there she took on a more challenging role in 1992's touching Mo' Money with Damon Wayans. You can also find her in 1994's Renaissance Man with Danny DeVito and some movie called Black Water.

In 1995, Stacey Dash landed the role that would define her career, as Dionne in the sleeper hit Clueless, opposite Alicia Silverstone. That's right: if you've done your math, she was a 29-year-old playing a teenager. This feat was even more amazing when she reprised the role of Dionne Marie Davenport while in her thirties, in the television adaptation of Clueless, from 1996 to 1999.

Stacey hasn't had many memorable performances of late, but she took it all off for a movie called Cold Around The Heart in 1997.

In 1998, she appeared in the film Personals, and she was cast in the TV series The Strip, which aired in 1999. Stacey will next be seen in The Painting and A View from the Top, which features Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Applegate, Kelly Preston, and Mike Myers.

We hope to see more of Stacey in the near future, but of course, we'll never be as lucky as her husband Brian Lovell, who she has been married to since July 1999. In addition to her acting duties, Stacey is also an assistant producer at Rockefella Records.
