Vanessa Angel became a model/actress at age 16 when she was discovered by world renown agent Eileen Ford. Vanessa then
relocated to New York from London, traveled the world and appeared on magazine covers from "Cosmopolitan" to "Vogue."
Vanessa's transition from modeling to acting came rather suddenly when, in 1985, she was chosen by director John Landis to
play a Russian spy in the film, "Spies Like Us". She quickly mastered a Russian accent and was later featured in the Paul
McCartney video of the same name.
A versatile actress who has studied under Sondra Lee and Frank Casaro at The Actors Studio in New York, Angel has had
roles in the feature films, "Killer Instinct", "King of New York", "Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot" with Sly and "Sleep With Me"
with Eric Stoltz and Meg Tilly. In 1994, she co-starred on the theatrical film, "Cityscrapes" -- a tragic story of young adults with
dysfunctional relationships who live in Los Angeles, and co-starred in the feature film "Kingpin" with Woody Harrelson and
Randy Quaid.
