IJLW Brazil 8

Monkey Mafia 0

Team: Andrews, Toms, Davison, Churchley, Lambert, G. Clark (C), P. Clark, Smith, Belcher, Harrison, Donkin.

Subs: Kennedy, Fox,Andy.

Brazil went into the game with a point to prove after last weeks poor show against Henderson C. Brazil took control of the game from the whistle, with Belcher and G. Clarke finding acres of space on the wings, and Harrison and Donkin begining to link up in attack. It wasn't long before the Brazilan pressure took its toll, a slick move saw Donkin played in and he held off the defenders challenge to slot home 1-0. Moments later Harrison was released and he continued his scoring run to slot home (although for the rest of the game he couldn't score in a brothel with a £50 note such to his knob)2-0. Brazil were laying seige to their goal by this point and the Mafia defence gave away a needless penalty, which Davison classily tucked away after sending the keeper the wrong way to score his first goal for the team 0-3. With the first half barely half way gone, Brazil found themselves 4-0 up after G. Clarke scored from the second penalty of the game after a goal bound effort by Donkin was handled on the line, the defender luckily remained on the pitch. Mafia struggled to stem the onslaught of Brazil and rarely got out of their own half, and when ever they did manage to it only resulted a swift counter attack, one of which resulted in Donkin's second 5-0. Just before the interval Donkin completed his hatrick from close range 6-0.

Second Half

Half time saw one change, with Davison making way for Kennedy at left back, Mafia deciding they had nothing to lose threw men forward trying to score a goal, but without registering one shot on target the whole game. Brazil with a confortable lead didn't attack with the same vigour as the first half, but the chances they had fell to Harrison who missed 3 or 4 one on ones with the keeper. Donkin was replaced by Fox in a move that saw Belcher push up front. A flowing move saw G. Clark released down the right beating one challenge before clipping the ball over the keeper and in off the far post - possible goal of the season contender 7-0. Moments later a Belcher free kick on the right of the Mafia box was bent over the wall with the keeper beaten but the ball bounced back off the bar. The ball fell kindly to Lambert who couldn't score from 2yds out. Late on the ball fell to Belcher on the edge of the area and his shot came back off the post but G. Clarke was on hand to grab his 3rd and brazils 8th.

Final Score 8-0

Ref- 9/10.
