Taken From Smah Hits Magazine - 1991

Matt Goss is the former lead singer of Bros, Matt has been singing since a very young age and has also got a passion for singer Stevie Wonder whom he respects his talents very much, since leaving Bros Matt has completed 2 solo albums and is now set for the release of his 3rd Solo album.

The first thing that Matt did after Bros had finished was go to LA to give himself some time to think about what he wants to do and where he wants to go, besically to give himself space and comeback with a spectacular debut album called 'The Key' of which Matt played absolutely everything on and arranged the harmonies himself.

Matt released 2 singles from that album, the title track 'The Key' was Matt's 1st release that went in at number 40 on the UK mainstream charts and at number 1 on the UK dance charts with a mix that was done by DJ Joe.T.Vanelli.

Following 'The Key' was going to be a track called 'Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away' but due to a popular demand of people wanting Matt to release the Alexandra O'Neal cover track that Matt performed acoustically he then recorded 'If You Were Here Tonight' in the recording stuido which then became his second single (Later added to 'The Key' album, the European & Japanese release of the album didn't feature 'If You Were Here Tonight' but before the UK release of the album they added it to the track listing), If You Were Here Tonight shot straight in at number 23 in the UK charts.

Matt then went quiet for a bit and went to Italy to work on a new project called Co*Bra which was made up of DJ Joe.T.Vanelli & Matt Goss, also people like Roger Sanchez, Robert Miles and even Mark King a spectaular bass player from his former band Level 42, they had releases in Italy & Australia as well as releasing 'Love Sweet Love' in the UK, the Co*bra album titled 'One' was released in Italy with a new version of 'The Key' and lots of other tracks that Matt had written aswell as another Stevie Wonder cover called 'Living For The City' (Which was released as a single in Australia), also on the album was a duet with Denise Pearson formally of the band Five Star.

Matt then featured on the 'Stuart Little' soundtrack with a lovely song titled 'Lucky Day' which can be found available in the UK & US, the song wasn't actually featured in the film but made a great addition the album and of course was great for Matt's career.
