CHRISTMAS 1966

This 15 minutes-episode of SEARCH FOR TOMORROW was shown on Christmas 1966, in CBS.

SCENE 1 : Stu and Marge's House

Marge and Stu are at their home. Stu is sad because he knows that Jo is having some sad Christmas. He tells Marge that Jo's husband, Arthur, was alive last Christmas, and that is a sad and melancholic moment for all of them. They are getting ready for going to Jo's house.

SCENE 2 : Henderson Hospital

Patti Barron is a nurse at Henderson Hospital. She is caring of a patient called Sam Reynolds. They speak about their lives in 1966. Patti tells him that she lost her father in February, and she was about to marry in July, but she didn't. He speaks abut his sadness and speaks about his family. They wish themselves Merry Christmas and 1967.

SCENE 3 : Jo's house

Stu is in Jo's living-room. The living-room is decorated with Christmas trimmings and a wonderful Christmas tree. She wishes her Merry Christmas and they remember that year. Eunice, Jo's sister, comes from the kitchen and Marge is there preparing something. Jo is very sad, and Eunice tries to cheer her up. Then Dr Bob Rogers and Patti arrive. Dr Bob also tries to cheer Jo up. He tells her that there is always a time for everything in life: a time to love, a time to mourn, and a time to celebrate and... Eunice receives a telephone call with important news that make her happy. Stu comes from the kitchen with some glasses for a Christmas toast.

SCENE 4 : Jo's house

Jo, Patti, Eunice, Dr. Bob, Stu and Marge drink coffee and Marge asks Jo for a Christmas song. All gather around her and she sings with her guitar two wonderful songs...It's Christmas...
