On LOCATION

When a soap actor must go ON LOCATION, it means more work and to have to travel for taping the exteriors. Some of them love filming on location, others simply hate it. But it is a fact, that after each location scenes, they really enjoy wherever they are!

Santa Barbara had a lot of exteriors scenes that gave to the show the peculiarity of being the favourite soap among its viewers. Years after their cancellation, we are going to remember all those places where SB went to... California, Paris, San Francisco, Boston, Louisiana, Dysneyland, Moscow....

All the following scenes and moments were taped on location:

1984

The very first on location was when Joe Perkins was in prison and the guard told him that he was now a free man. He decided then to return to Santa Barbara.

Joe had flashbacks in which he was in the beach with Kelly. Their love was great!!!

Joe and Augusta kissed for first time next to the Lockridge swimming-pool.

Joe spied Kelly and Peter when they were at the Capwell yatch.

Peter had a well deserved accident when he was playing polo.

Ted and Laken ride on a bike in their first scene. What a romantic!!!

Peter tried to shoot and kill Joe at the mountains. Joe was there alone and Peter wanted to kill him. Kelly arrived on time.

The Eartquake!

A lot of scenes were taped on location. Augusta and Lionel were in a cliff in the mountains. Ted wastrapped in a cave and Warren rescued him...
