Nancy (Jo Polniaczek) McKeon chose not to appear in the special. She is busy working on her new show, The Division, for Lifetime and wants to shed the "Jo" image. Jo cannot attend the reunion because her and another cop from her division are in Los Angeles taking someone to court.

The rumors have finally been confirmed by Entertainment Tonight and Lisa (Blair Warner) Whelchel on her website. The Facts of Life reunion movie is set to begin production in September for a November release on ABC. Lisa Whelchel and her family will be making a stop on their Family Dream Trip in Toronto, Canada to shoot the film.

No word yet on the title of the special, and other guest appearances (Beverly Ann, Andy, etc) are unknown. Watch this page for updates as they become available!

Lisa has promised us pictures and stories from the set! (Of course, she'll only give us info that won't ruin the plot.) You can check out her Daily Journal where she'll be posting them. She's been posting stories and pics about what is happening on her Family Dream Trip. It's really interesting -- check it out!

Update: September 21, 2001 -- E! was at the set the other day filming shots to add to the E! True Hollywood Story: The Facts of Life Girls. They also conducted individual interviews which *may* be in a 30-minute Behind The Scenes special on the movie. I'll let you know for sure when I find out.
Update: September 20, 2001 -- "The Little Inn At Peekskill" is actually this gigantic mansion in the fancy part of Toronto. The license plate on Blair's limo reads "BLR WTCH" (The Blair Witch Project. hehe).
Update: September 6, 2001 -- The reunion will conclude with a big Thanksgiving Dinner scene.
Update: September 5, 2001 -- Mrs. G's son, Raymond, is in the movie. Nat's two "suitors" (as Lisa called them) are named Robert and Harper. (Could one of these be Snake's real name? *g*). In the script, Tootie is referred to as Dorothy. Blair and Tad own a "quaint" hotel called "The Little Inn" -- this is where most of the movie takes place. A portrait of Blair and Tad is being taken tomorrow as a prop to hang in the hotel.
Update: September 4, 2001 -- In Lisa's Journal she said her and her family moved into their hotel room in Toronto yesterday where they will be staying for 5 weeks during production. Lisa said she ran into Charlotte checking into her room and that she looked great. Today they had their first reading in the morning and a costume fitting in the afternoon. Lisa will tell us all about it in her Journal tomorrow!
Update: August 19, 2001 -- There is talk about reconsructing one of the original sets from the show for the reunion movie. They seem to be leaning towards the Eastland cafeteria/lounge set or the house from seasons 5-9, but it will be very expensive. We'll just have to wait and see!

Felice (Nancy) Schachter, Julie (Sue Ann) Piekarski, and Julie Ann (Cindy) Haddock are in negotiations to appear in the reunion.

Lisa and her family stopped last week in Yellowstone National Park for a photo shoot for People Weekly. The article focuses on what the FOL Girls are up to now and the reunion. It hits news stands on September 10th, the same day production on the film starts in Canada.

Update: August 17, 2001 -- The story centers around Natalie, a CNN journalist, who is torn between two marriage proposals. According to Lisa's latest E-letter, Blair is president of Warner Industries and married to Tad Warner, making her Blair Warner Warner. *g*.
Sadly, it is apparent that Bruce has passed on. Noo! **sniff** Although, this leaves the option open for yet another suave older gentleman to show up. hehe. *eg*
Update: August 2, 2001 -- On Entertainment Tonight last night, Mindy Cohn said that the reunion will be like "A 2 hour Nick-At-Nite episode."
On Lisa's website she said, "What if George Clooney were to show up?" . . . I wonder. *g*
