Watched it on the Look and Read programme at school. Also had activity books to accompany it, which we did in class - I think I was in p4/5 (1988). Also watched it in my teenage years when I was off school skiving!
As far as I can remember, there was one series. It was basically about a Geordie lad called Spuggy who spent his spare time racing pidgeons and solving mysteries with his friend Janie, while his family prepared for a marathon.
This was a classic programme that most people remember when I mention it. It spurs off memories of other Look and Read series such as Dark Towers - which I don't remember, so I think my school must have missed that one!!
I give this programme 9/10 because it was ace, and very memorable!
