PUERTO MADRYN is found in the Southern Province of Chubut, on the coast.
It has a strong Welsh ascendency, and there are many tea-shops where you can try the famous WELSH CAKE.

From Puerto Madryn excursiones can be taken to see the sighting of the whales.

Glacier Perito Moreno in the Argentine Patagonic region, has a spectacular natural ice breaking show every 3 or 4 years

Every year at the end of February, the colourful CARNAVALS are held all over Argentina. A three or so day show in which the whole public take part.

Another important aspect of the life in Argentina is the producción of WINES

In MENDOZA to the west, THE FIESTA of WINE PRODUCTION is held in February

At Easter week, many faithful make a pilgrimage to TANDIL, in the Province of Buenos Aires.

Also in the Provincia de Buenos Aires is the city of BAHIA BLANCA, an important port and naval base.
