Every stain has it’s cure.
A: In clothing and material.:
- Mud: leave to dry thoroughly, then rub with a stiff brush. The rest should come out in normal washing.
- Ball point pen: As soon as the stain is produced, soak a piece of cotton wool in alcohol and apply it to the stain.
- Ball point pen 2: soak a dried stain in hairspray, wait till it is dry then brush it lightly with a mixture of water and vinagre.
- Coffee and chocolate: it is enough to wash it in soapy water and several rinses. If it is a white material not easily washed, dab it with a piece of cotton wool soaked in oxygenated water.
- Candy, sweets; use hot water which has the powere to dissolve the sugar.
- Fruit stains: if the article is white, soak it in 3% oxygenated water, the add a couple of drops of ammonia. If it is coloreds put a few drops of citic acid 10% on the stain (sold in chemists shops)
- Chewing/ bubble gum: put an ice cube on the strain, and it should lift of easily.
- Grease: (butter, oil etc.) cover with talcum powder and brush. If a halo remains, try bencine.
- Ice-cream: if the stain is new, soak in cold water. If the stain is old, it can be removed with bencine

- Blood: If it is fresh, it lifts off easily applying salt and soaking in very cold water. Or soak the stain in oxygenated water.
- Tea: tea stains disappear putting a couple of drops of lemon juice on them.
- Red ink: First apply ammonia in water, then wash the stain in a liitle milk
- Wine: if possible cover the stain with salt as soon as it is produced then wash in hot water, or in oxygenated water in white tableclothes.
- Yoghurt: leave the stain to dry, then brush and rub the whole area with warm water. Remove any remaining halos with bencine.
B: In carpets;
If you stain a new carpet, don’t try shaking it or passing the vacuum cleaner. Instead brush it or clean it with a sponge.
Use shaving cream to remove stains, the foam giving good results. Then wash the stained area with natural water or mineral water, or soda water.
To remove grease stains from carpets, use a paste made from stain remover and talcum powder, then rub, and pass the vacuum cleaner. Repeat if need be.
C: Stained metals:
To clean gold or silver objects ( if you have any!) simply with the white part of bread.
And if you dig out your grandparents chest and find chains, medals, broches etc., so blackened with age, that you don’t know wwhat they are, rub with a barely damp cloth and a lot bicarbonate of soda, and you’ll see how they bring up a shine in next to no time.
Copper objects can be cleaned rubbing with a piece of cut lemon. Then rinse in warm water and dried with a soft cloth. For difficlut stains, use some salt with the lemon. It works, too, with copper bottomed saucepans
The white stains caused by hard water in stainless steel utensils can be dissolved and removed with white vinagre.
Hardened soap and lime satins on bathroom fittings can be removed with vinagre
D: Miscelaneous:
Tough stains on marbol work surfaces can be removed with a soft cloth and a little trementine. Clean with warm water then polish as usual.
Something melted or got stuck on the bottom of your iron? Run the hot iron several times over a piece of white paper with plenty of salt sprinkled on it.
Cloth or silk flowers: Place flowers in a paper bag with a handfull of baking soda and shake vigorously for several minutes. With delicate flowers shake gently.
Next , we’ll see how to get rid of smells

How to decide what your baby will be before you even start!!
A boy baby, or a girl baby?
How many times have you heard things like “I couldn’t give him/ her a boy” or “Now we are trying for the girl”
Well, here is a recipe that goes beyond the guy sleeping with his boots on if he wants a boy!
For a boy:
The woman should;
- Eat plenty of alkaline foods, use an alkaline douche before lovemaking at the “critical” time, which is immediately after ovulation *.
- The man should;
- Drink plenty of coffee, especially before the critical lovemaking.
- Avoid tight fitting underwear.
- Use a contraceptive if making love after the “critical time”
- Both should;
- Avoid any lovemaking until immediately after ovulation.
- Make love so that the man penetrates from the rear.
- Encourage the woman to achieve climax.
For a girl:
- The woman should;
- Keep a balanced diet.
- Use a non-alkaline douche before lovemaking at the “critical” time, which is three days before ovulation*
- The man should;
- Avoid coffee, tea and any caffeine based stimulants around the critical time
- Wear tight fitting underwear for a few days beforehand
- Use a contraceptive if making love after the critical time.
- Both should;
- Make love freely and frequently until three days before ovulation.
- Make love in the face to face position.
- Discourage the woman reaching a climax
* The time of ovulation can be worked out if the woman charts her temperature daily. Ovulation occurs every month at the point where the temperature first falls, then rises rapidly, usually a week to ten days after her period. Get to know your own pattern before trying for a baby.
What are you all laughing at? It worked for us! At least there is a 50 – 50 chance it will for you too! I’d be interested to hear the results. But anyway, don’t blame ME or your partner if it doesn’t work.! This is the textual version my Mom sent me when I was between kids.
