I haven't updated in a looong time... :-)
A lot of things have happened since then... :-)
Among other things, we bought our very first house and
are very excited about and happy to be in our new home :-)
My dear sweet husband also bought me my very own domain!! :-)

I'm currently working on it, so Desert Rose's Oasis won't be updated any longer...
It'll get totally revamped and become a part of my domain :-)
It'll take me a while to get everything finished, though, so until then,
ye good ole oasis will stay up here, just no more updates :-)

Big News!! :-)
We have a new addition to our fur-kid family!! :-)
His name is Brando, he's about 5 years old
and an American Eskimo/Samoyed mix doggy!! :-)
We adopted him from the local animal shelter,
at a special adoption event at our local mall on July 13 :-)
We hadn't even really planned on adopting another doggy so soon,
but we saw Brando and fell in love with him! :-)
He'll have his own page soon! :-)

She created it just for us to document our wonderful friendship! :-)

of the 2002 Soccer World Cup!! :-) Yaaay!! :-)
My excitement about this is commemorated with

Even though the USA is my second home and I love it dearly,
I hope all you Americans will understand and forgive lil me
when I root for the country I was born and raised in :-)
If I had my way, both Germany and the USA

After moving to wonderful Texas,
today actually is the first time after a long while
I could be online again and work a little on my site :-)
We still don't have our internet connection set up in our new home yet,
so I can only get online once in a while now when being in my hubby's office :-)

and deleted some outdated links.

In remembrance of the tragic events that occured in the USA,
which I lovingly regard as my second home-country,
yesterday, on September 11, 2001,
there now is a memorial page for all the victims in place
right after the entry page of the oasis.
My husband's and my hearts go out to the victims and their families,
you are dearly loved and in our thoughts and prayers!
