Coast to Coast Hardware Stores

When I first found out that "Champ of the Road" manufactured a Coast to Coast rig, all I received was the trailer. It came as a combo with another truck. I wasn't sure what cab it should be displayed with, so I now had another challenge.

Here's how I got it.

Now the task was up to me to figure out what tractor came with this trailer. I figured that it was probably a Peterbilt cabover, considering some of the other rare rigs all used this tractor. So I proceeded to 'dummy up' a cab for it, so I could display it until I got the correct rig together.

Here is the correct rig!

Here is the correct rig. Boy was I wrong! It actually came with a Peterbilt conventional (in black, of all colors!) with the correct striping. The only oddity here is that the refrigerator unit is missing on the new one. Perhaps I will fix that soon.
