Graphics: while they're not the first 3-D graphics made, it's got a great look. And that's my cue for a 9.
Sound: distubingly metallic. And I think the marble screams when it falls off...or something. 6mas tiiiiiime is herrrrrrrrre!
Control: one can have it two ways; screen-wise, or layout-wise. In other words, there's 90 degrees and 45 degrees of control available. 9 for this design (that rhymes 0_o)
Gameplay: this game has had many spinoffs on it, including Roll away for PSX, and Super Monkey Ball for GCN (soon.). Here's something that also comes out of the gameplay: A perfect 10!
Overall rating: 8.5
