Career : Has a BA in History education from University of Dubuque. He entered the Golden Gloves boxing tournament, and after that, he turned pro. Then he was discovered by producer Sheslow and got a part in the TV series "Taxi". In 1984 got the role of "Tony Micelli" in ABC's "Who's the boss?" which lasted 8 seasons. Danza also starred in the tv series "Hudson street", "The Tony Danza show" and his most recent role in "Family laws" as Joe Celano. He appeared in movies such as "She's Out of Control" (1989) and "Angels in the Outfield" (1994), along with TV movies: "Freedom Fighter" (1988), "Deadly Whispers" (1995) and "Noah" (1998).
Danza is also a musician. His song and dance stage show debuted in 1995 and he also played on the Legendary Las Vegas trip and New York's famed Rainbow and stars. In 1998 he headlined with the national symphony orchestra. His debut album "The house I live in" is due to be released this fall.
